Jennifer Reyna’s birth, age, family, school, and childhood
Jennifer Reyna was born in Houston, Texas on 1 January 1980. The age of this established TV anchor and host is 38 years running. Her family migrated shortly after her birth. She is the only child of her parents and was raised in California. She is of mixed ethnicity.
She graduated from the University of Houston. She considered her parents as her True Valentines. She loved them immensely and was devastated when she lost them due to illness with a year of each other.
This was in 2011-2012 and also the time that she totally left her workouts and started immersing herself in her TV work to forget the loss.
Jennifer Reyna’s career progression
Jennifer Reyna had joined KPRC 2 News in the year 2006. She had worked with them as a traffic journalist. She worked here for several years and left it in 2014. She then went in to join NBC the same year. Here too Jennifer worked as a traffic journalist. Through her morning show on which she provides updates on the traffic conditions of different roads, Jennifer Reyna helps millions of people reach their workplace on time!

Her recognition actually came due to her inability to pronounce Lupita Nyong’o’s. A clipping of her video was played on The Jimmy Kimmel Show. In this, Jennifer had to read the copy but had become some sort of a laughing stock on the National TV. On the ABC show, Jimmy Kimmel had made fun of several news anchors who had failed to pronounce Lupita Nyong’o’s name properly.
Lupita Nyong’o had a role in the film ‘12 Years a Slave’ and was in 2013 voted as the People’s Magazine’s most beautiful person. When Lupita Nyong’o’s name came up on the prompter, Jennifer Reyna painfully pronounced it as:
‘Actress Lupita Nnnnnnin-yong’o’.

She then went on to ask fellow KPRC-TV co-anchor on her show Lauren Freeman about how she had spoken, Lauren had replied:
“It was close.”
It was later said that at least Jennifer Reyna had attempted pronouncing her name, but there were some like Baton Rouge’s WAFB-TV anchor Lauren Westbrook who just preferred to say the first name of the actress.

Jennifer Reyna’s lifestyle and workouts
Jennifer used to do workouts regularly but as her TV career took over especially after her both parental death one after another, she had less and less time to go to the gym and hence had left it completely. In May 2017, after a 6-year gap, Jennifer restarted the fitness regimes. She said:
“I tried to get back into the gym, but I was canceling each time. I was so busy working on my career, I didn’t have time to work on myself in terms of fitness,”

Jennifer Reyna has managed to keep her personal life private and out of media glare. This 5 feet 8 inches beauty is supposedly not married and has no husband. She also has no children, it is said. We are unaware whether she is dating someone. There are some pictures of a male with her on her social media but it is unsure whether the person is her boyfriend or just a friend.
Jennifer Reyna had in an interview expressed her desire to don a wedding gown and marry soon. But she gave no clues whatsoever about with whom she wants to exchange the wedding vows. Her marriage plans continue to be an enigma! We will need to wait and watch!
