Dana Bash and John King’s child, divorce
Dana and John have a child; a son named Johan who was born in June 2011. About three months after the birth of the child, the couple began staying separately. They later announced that they were divorcing and that it was by mutual consent. In March 2012, they had officially split.

Both Dana Bash and John were previously married. John was married to Jean Makie before Dana and had two children with her; Noah and Hannah. Dana, on the other hand, was in a marital relationship with former CIA Chief of Staff called Jeremy Bash. The marriage lasted for around 9 years from 1998 to 2007. She did not have any children with Jeremy.

Dana Bash and her childhood days
Dana Bash was born as Dana Ruth Schwartz on 15 June 1971 in Manhattan to a Jewish family. She had highly qualified parents; her father was ABC News producer who also served as a senior broadcast producer for Good Morning America. Her mother was an author and also taught Jewish studies.
Dana had schooled at Pascack Hills High School in Montvale, New Jersey. She then joined George Washington University and obtained a bachelor’s degree in political communications.

Dana Bash career
Dana had already started working while at college. She interned with NBC, CBS, and CNN before beginning her career. She is also an honorary degree holder in Human Letters at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire.
After completing college, Dana joined CNN as a producer for their weekend programs such as Late Edition, Inside Politics, and the like. She then started special programs in the US Senate. She has received several honors and titles for her work. She is now CNN’s chief political correspondent. Her producer Abigail Crutchfield told of her:
“She’s the queen of multitasking,”
Dana Bash is also known for her scoops and provides her viewers with a lot of inside true stories. She has worked her way up at CNN and is now amongst the top staff there. Talking of her initial days, she said:
“I learned a lot about production and about producing programs and how to ask questions because I was working on interview shows with these icons, During all that time I was volunteering. I’d come in every weekend to volunteer in the field producing just to get more experience.”

Dana Bash is honored
Dana Bash was honored at the Moment Magazine luncheon at the Yale Club in New York. She was given the magazine’s “Creativity Award.”
At the event, she also shared her days in the year 1991.
“I went to college in Washington and my very first internship was at CBS News and it was during the Clarence Thomas hearings. I remember people thought that Clarence Thomas was going to have lunch at the Palm in D.C. and, as an intern, my job was to literally go to the Palm and sit there and see if he’d come out.”
