John Stamos gained fame as an actor, musician, and producer. His full name is John Phillip Stamos and his recognition came with the role of Blackie Parrish which he played in ABC’s General Hospital. He was also cast in Full House and ER. He is the executive producer of Fuller House.
John Stamos and his early life and birth details
John Stamos was born on 19 August 1963 in Anaheim, CA. His father William Stamos was a restaurant owner and his mother Loretta was a homemaker. He also had two sisters named Alana and Janeen. John is of mixed ethnicity; Greek from the paternal side and English and Irish from his mother’s side.

As a teenager, John used to flip burgers in Orange County area and when young, he used to assist his father in his restaurant. John was a student of the John F. Kennedy School and was a member of the marching band there.
John liked acting and at age 15, he attended the first Beach Boys concert and later landed an opportunity to tour with them. His parents were supportive of his career choice and though he had earlier plans to join Cypress College for further studies, he abandoned it in favor of his acting career which had already started.
John and his acting career
John’s first role came a few days later and it was for General Hospital. It was early 1982 and he got the nomination for this role. He procured the main role in Dreams. In this, he played an aspiring musician. In 1987, he joined the cast of Full House and played the character of Jesse who was one of the show’s protagonists. Even after the completion of the sitcom in 1995, he maintained a close relationship with most of the cast of Full House.

John did more TV shows, series, films, and commercials. He did roles in Thieves in 2001, Jake in Progress in 2005, and guest starred in Friends. He also appeared in The One with the Donor, The Andy Milonakis Show (2005), and Wedding Wars in 2006. John also has done voice acting for several animated films. He was also cast in Grandfathered and has reprised his role as Jesse in Fuller House. John is also the executive producer of the series.
He also did a recurring role in Necessary Roughness. John managed to get the lead role in the soap opera Members Only on ABC.

John and music
John learned drums when he was 4 and formed his own band called Destiny. The band did several concerts and tours. He also did solo and had few albums and songs on his name. In 2009, he had a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He has a net worth of $ 40 million.

John’s personal life
He and model Rebecca Romijn began dating in 1994 after they met at a fashion show and got engaged on 25 December 1997. They tied the knot at Beverly Hills Hotel on 19 September 1998. But in April 2004 they were already split. In October 2017, he got engaged to Caitlin McHugh and this came after one year’s dating period. They got married this February and their son Billy arrived on 15 April 2018. John was desperate for a kid and had said last year:
“I hope [to have kids]. That’s always been my plan. It’s just taken me a lot longer than I anticipated. It would be a tragedy if I didn’t have children and I finally found the right woman — the perfect woman.”

John was recently shamed on the social media for carrying Billy facing forward in the baby carrier.
