Johnny Depp is ready to be back with a different surprise to make comeback at MTV VMA’s as a new character named “Moonman”!
According to several reports, Johnny Depp is in discussion with esteemed producers to make a surprise appearance during the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards (MTV VMA 22’).
“The Pirates of the Caribbean” actor Johnny has been in talks with the production team to dress up as the VMAs Moonman mascot.
The event will be held in New Jersey next weekend. This is sort of a TV comeback for the actor if it goes through as reportedly planned. Sadly, Depp might not win any awards this year, throughout his career, he won five Moonmen statues.
That includes awards for Best Male Performance, Best Villain, Global Superstar, and the Generation Award in 2012.

It doesn’t seem surprising at all for the actor to turn up at the VMAs after his defamation trial win against ex-wife Amber Heard. Johnny has been focussing on his musical career more, whatever soothes the actor, who are we to comment after all.

Johnny is working hard with musical endeavors too. He has reunited with The Hollywood Vampires for a short European tour. That’s the supergroup featuring Joe Perry and Alice Cooper, as seen on the band’s Instagram page.
Not to mention, Beck has a tour coming up, so who knows, maybe Depp will have more appearances coming soon. As we all know that Depp worked with Jeff Beck on the album 18 which dropped in July.
The two have also been appearing together in the U.K. recently. So there are increasing chances that we will see them together more often.

We might also see Depp sailing back on the Fantastic Beasts yacht. Things got worse for Depp in 2020 as he was forced to resign from the ‘Fantastic Beasts franchise.
It was the request of Warner Bros after the British court ruled that 12 of 14 violence incidents claimed by Heard were “substantially TRUE,”. Since winning the defamation suit against his ex-wife, Hollywood rushed back at the famed actor’s feet.
After a $301 million offer from Disney, Depp is reportedly in talks to star back in another “Pirate of the Caribbean film”. It is also expected that he will direct a film which is about the great Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani. And also produce the movie alongside Al Pacino and Barry Navidi.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are all set to receive the 2022 Global Icon Award, and this year’s Vanguard Award will be presented to none other than Minaj. The 39-year-old has surely won many hearts.
The “Super Bass” rapper along with Lizzo, BLACKPINK, Måneskin, Anitta, J Balvin, Marshmello x Khalid and Panic! At The Disco will be performing at the ceremony.

Depp has also announced his next film La Favorite, where he’ll play King Louis XV.
