Jonathan Whitesell was born on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada on 28 August 1991; his current age is 26 years. He was raised in Canada by his parents. There is no information about his siblings if any. He used to take part in middle and high school plays and dramas.
After his high school, he attended Capilano University and received a degree for both stage and on-screen acting. He enrolled and completed The Acting for Stage and Screen Program. His charming personality and good height of 5 feet 8 inches added to his ability to bag good roles.

Jonathan Whitesell’s has entered the entertainment industry in 2015. His debut role was that of Logan in the movie ‘Unspoken’. He was also a part of the 2016 film ‘Beyond’. He played Luke in this film. Talking about this role, Jonathan had said:
“Oddly enough I originally auditioned for the role of Holden. It was a bit of a whirlwind experience that started with a taping, three auditions, and a test over the span of a couple of months. It was a couple of weeks after my test I found out I didn’t get the part…It was tough to digest the news, but I was thrilled about the whole experience, nonetheless. It wasn’t until about three weeks later that I got the call saying that they were going to offer me the role of Luke instead! The whole process took about three months, and I was very emotionally invested, so when I got the news it was mind-blowing.”
Talking about his memorable time with the cast of Beyond, Jonathan has also said:
“Tough to say without giving anything away! SO many good moments on set. The pilot in general with Lee Krieger directing was amazing. I can safely say we have a very dynamic ensemble of actors and a great crew, so every day was something special. Especially later in the season there were some badass moments that had me awestruck.”
He also acted in The Hollow in 2015. Jonathan has also guest appeared in a number of films and shows such as The X-Files revival, The 100 and iZombie. He was also seen opposite Micheal J Fox, an actor from Spin City in 2016 for the film A.R.C.H.I.E. Regarding sci-fi genre films, Jonathan said:
“I’ve always loved sci-fi, it’s what I grew up with. So being able to play these characters is a dream come true. In terms of my gravitation towards the genre, I’d say it varies. If it’s something I can put my heart into, then I’m all for it, no matter what the genre of style.”
In The 100 he plays an LGBT character and talking about it he had said that it was an honor to do that part. He felt that the fans of that movie are very passionate.
