He holds the high school record with 1733 rebounds. His mother Elnora was also a basketball player who had won all-state honors in 1985. He has a brother named Jeffrey and a sister called Brittany.
Otto’s uncles Marcus Timmons (Elnora’s brother), Melvin Porter, and Jerry Porter all are winners of state titles. His cousin Calvin Porter Jr. is also into basketball and another cousin Mark Mosely was the starting point guard for the Braves in 1990 and 1991 during the state championship win.
