Kamala Harris is an American law practitioner and also active in political affairs. She used to be an Attorney General of California, and a District Attorney of San Francisco from 2004 to 2010. She is now the Junior United States Senator for California.

Kamala Harris had completed her studies. After that, for eight years (1990-1998), Kamala was the deputy district attorney in Alameda County, California. In 2000, she worked as chief of the Community and Neighborhood Division under City Attorney, Louise Renne.

Then in 2003, she became District Attorney of the City San Francisco. Then she was the winner of the election for California’s Attorney General in 2010 and she again won the same title in 2014. In 2016’s election, Kamala defeated her opponents and became California’s third female U.S. Senator.
