Keith and Kevin Hodge were working in finance and US Marine Corps. They uploaded their first video in 2008. They had thought that they would just make people laugh and at the same time provide them with tips about a healthy lifestyle.
But when their videos started getting popular, they decided to quit their jobs and jump full time into this online career. It was Keith who came up with this idea of indulging full-time into entertaining people as a career. Talking about it they say:
“We always say we took the long route into our careers in fitness and entertainment,” they explain. “In 2008, we uploaded our first video with absolutely no idea it would become the start of new careers for us. We had this dream of making people laugh while inspiring them to live healthier lives, but didn’t quite know how to achieve that and earn a living. One day at work, Keith had this idea that we should quit our jobs to do YouTube videos full time, and so we did.”

The first one was a commentary channel where they gave a commentary and views about the happenings around. The second was more like an advice channel.
