Kelly Evans is an American journalist. She is currently working as a co-anchor of “Closing Bell” on the CNBC news channel. Her workplace was previously based in CNBC Europe’s London, England. Now Kelly Evans has been relocated to CNBC’s headquarters in New Jersey.
Early days and childhood
Kelly Evans was born on July 17, 1985, in Hartford, Connecticut, United States. She was born as a daughter of Dave Evans. She was raised in Lexington Virginia, Rockbridge County near the Blue Ridge Mountains.
As she is a secretive person and does not like to share her private information to the public, not much is known about her parents, siblings, and childhood happenings.
Education and Academic achievements
She studied at Rockbridge County High School. She was an ace student there. She earned eight letters in lacrosse, cross country and track during her years in the high school.
After graduation, she joined Washington and Lee University to further her career. As a star pupil, she was in high school, she too began to ace in her field of studies. At University, she was a George Washington Honor Scholar. She graduated from the university with magna cum laude, a Latin term used to indicate the level of academic distinction.
Along with being an Ace student, she was also an athlete. She was a four-time scholar-athlete, co-captain of the women’s lacrosse team, and a national leadership society Omicron Delta Kappa.
Career
Her career in Journalism began in 2007. That year she started to write for the Wall Street Journal. There she wrote articles on real estate and economics. Some of her most recognized articles were “Ahead of the Tapes” among others. She was also a writer for “Heard on the Street”. Around the same time, she also worked there as a reporter for the Global Economics Bureau.
She was also a host of the daily “News Hub” on WSJ.com. She was invited as a guest on various television news programs and radio networks regularly, including CNBC before finally joining the CNBC in May 2012.

Kelly is believed to have replaced former CNBC host Erin Burnett, who left the channel to anchor a news program on CNN.
Marriage
The gorgeous intelligent lady is a married woman. She dated Eric Chemi, CNBC’s sports reporter. After a while, they were ready to take their relationship to the next level. The couple got engaged and they happily got married in April 2017.
