He started his musical career by joining the American rock band ‘Tonic’ as a drummer. Emerson Hart, Jeff Russo, Dan Rothchild, and Dan Lavery are the other band members. The group released its debut album Lemon Parade in 1996, which was later certified platinum.
In 1997, they released a single ‘If You Can Only See’. The song peaked at no.11 on the Billboard Airplay Hot 100. In the same year, Kevin got into a fight with one of the members of the band and eventually quit the group.
After separating from the band, he started to build his acting career. He made appearance in the TV series Magnum P.I. and the movie, Scream 2 which helped him to gain popularity as an actor.
Since then, he has not been active in Hollywood.
