Kim Sae-Ron’s early days, family, and birth
Kim Sae-Ron was born on 31st July 2000. She is a millennial child. Her birthplace is Seoul, South Korea though the exact location of her birth is not known. There is very scarce information available regarding her family. Her parental names and their professional details are not known. But it is known that Kim Sae-Ron has two sisters named Kim Ah-Ron and Kim Ye-Ron. Both are younger than Kim Sae-Ron.
She had studied at the School of Performing Arts situated in Seoul. Her high school and College details are unavailable. She had a keen interest in acting right from her early childhood days.
In November 2018, she opened up about getting bullied in school because she was an actress. She said,
“It was in elementary school. No one really knew I was an actress because the films I worked on weren’t for younger audiences, but then ‘The Man from Nowhere‘ was a big commercial success. It was around that time that I moved schools. And the new kids at my school just saw me as a celebrity and not a fellow classmate, so I was bullied.”
“The bullying was pretty intense. They’d write curse words and mean things about me in playgrounds and on the walls on the way home. They’d steal my shoes so I’d have to walk home barefoot. I’d get a call and go outside to see that no one was there, and when I invited everyone for a birthday party, no one showed up.”
Kim Sae-Ron’s career as a child actress
Kim Sae-Ron started her career early in life. She was just 9 years old when she was cast as a child actress. There are a number of films to her credit but she gained fame by acting in A Brand New Life (2009) and The Man From Nowhere (2010). In the former film, she was cast as Jin-Hee. As she grew and her talent developed and got enhanced further, Kim Sae-Ron was cast in leading roles.
She also did I am Father in 2011 and was seen in Barbie in 2012. The same year, she was also cast in The Neighbors. She was also cast as Kim Geum-Hwa in Manshin in 2014. She was in the main role in the film called ‘A Girl at My Door’ in 2014. The same year, Kim Sae-Ron also played Soo-Jung in Manhole. She did a cameo role in 2016’s The Great Actor. In the year 2017, Kim Sae-Ron had the role of Kang Young-Ae in Snowy Road. She had also done a TV movie with a similar name on KBS1 in 2015.
Kim Sae-Ron also received roles in TV series. She was cast as an actress in Can You Hear My Heart (2011), The Queen’s Classroom (2013), and Hi! School-Love On (2014). She has been in the middle of some controversies. In 2011, Kim had mentioned that she had not replied to the text messages of her co-star Won Bin. This had upset her fans and she was criticized for not having replied to the text messages. In February 2014, Kim was involved in a smoking and alcohol controversy.
Besides, in January 2016, Kim was accused of having gone under the knife and done some plastic surgery on her body when people compared her past and present pictures.
Kim Sae-Ron’s relationships
Kim Sae-Ron has not disclosed about her love life to the press or in interviews. She is just 18 year old and seems to be currently focused on upping her career.
