Her career began as a sports anchor for KXMC-TV. She then worked for CBS Network. She used to be the host for the SEC Tailgate show and also the ALT games. Now she is co-hosting the weekday morning show called MLB Central along with her colleagues Mark DeRosa and Robert Flores. She covers all the 30 teams of MLB Network but she is a fan of the Oriels.

“We didn’t have a team in D.C., so we adopted the Orioles and they gave us so many great moments. When the Nats came to town, it kind of slowly trickled over to that side.”

She also has got an opportunity in July 2018 to cover the All-Star Game. This is the first time she will be doing it and is extremely happy. She said of this assignment:

“All my greatest baseball memories are from the nation’s capital or around the Beltway. It’s kind of like a full-circle moment for me. I remember [American] Legion softball games, being on travel teams where you have five games in a day. All of my favorite memories that molded me into a baseball fan happened in and around D.C., so being able to cover the game of all the greats there is really special for me.”

She said that she has to ensure that her mother Mary has a good time at the games. The daughter said:

“She has a list of people she wants to meet. That’ll be a little thank you for all she’s done so far.”
