Coaching Career in Indiana

Indiana hired Lee in 1972. Likewise, he ended up leading the Indiana Hoosiers to win two seasons, in the years 1979 and 1980.

Indiana has scored a touchdown in the first quarter of the 1976 season against Ohio. However, this was the first time the Hoosiers led Buckeyes in a game in 25 years.

Coaching Career in Northern Illinois and USFL

After Indiana, he started coaching the Illinois Huskies at Northern Illinois University. In addition, Corso became the 16th head coach of the college.

On May 16, in the year 2009, Corso suffered a stroke at his Florida home. Furthermore, he was being kept in the ICU for three days.

Because of the stroke, Lee is partially paralyzed on the right side.  This led to prolonged rehabilitation.

On the other hand, Corso cannot speak for a month. Also, his cognitive functions, such as thinking, reasoning, problem-solving, learning, etc., get affected.

Slowly, he recovered with therapy and rehabilitation. However, we can notice a few differences.
