Lennon Stella was born as Lennon Ray Louise Stella in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada and her date of birth is 13 August 1999. The family later shifted to Nashville in Tennessee in 2009 where she was brought up. She has a younger sister named Maisy and who was born in 2003. Music runs in their blood since their parents are renowned singers Mary Lynne and Brad Stella who perform together under the name of The Stellas.
The initial part of her life was spent in an isolated farm in Claremont, Ontario. Lennon learned to play the guitar from the age of 5 from her father. She learned to play a number of other musical instruments but never had any formal training in it. She used to join her parents in their musical shows and also with her sister write songs when she was small. The family now is in Brentwood, Tennessee.

Lennon’s younger sister Maisy was more interested in acting. Hence she auditioned for a new ABC show and was chosen. But when the producers of the show came to know that she had an elder sister they offered her a role as well in the series. It was named Nashville and the girls started filming for it. The sisters uploaded a cover on YouTube and also performed on Good Morning America. Their performance was a hit.
The duo gave more performances and these were highly praised and appreciated. They even got the opportunity to open for Taylor Swift at the CMA Awards.
