Who are Les Twins?
Les Twins are known for their new style of hip-hop dancing and shot to fame when they made it to the finals of the popular TV show called as InCroyable Talent in 2008. Their fame further was enhanced when one of the videos of their San Diego segment of the ‘World of Dance’ Tour of 2010 went viral and amassed more than 37 million views. They then went on to win more competitions and became an international celebrities.
Les Twins
Les Twins are identical twins and their real names are Laurent and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois. Their nicknames are ‘Lil Beast’ and ‘’Ca Blaze’ respectively. They were born on 6 December 1988 in Sarcelles, Val D’Oise, France. Considering their birthdays, the twin brothers are of 28 years now.
Not much is known about their parents but in interviews, the Les Twins have always credited their mother for their success and said that she had done both jobs; that of a mother as well as a dad. They had also mentioned that their mother was strict and had laid down a set of rules for them. They live in a large Guadelopean extended family.
The total number of children in that family was 9 and Les twins were the youngest of them all. They are of mixed ethnicity; African and French.
The amazing part is that Les twins have never undergone any formal training in dance, They just observed other break dancers and learned on their own. They were so skilled that by the age of 12 years, they had already started performing at various concerts and shows. One of the Magazine had reported of them:
“They were born dancers. They walked at 5 months, seriously moved their bodies at 18 months old, and at 9 they showed off steps they had invented to youngsters twice their age in their neighborhood.”
At the start of their career
In the year 2005, the Les twins formed a dance group called the Criminal Crew with the help of five more recruits. With this group, they competed in various dance competitions and tournaments and also performed in clubs and on streets. They made it to the finalists of season 3 of ‘Incroyable Talent’ in 2008.
In 2009, they were invited to perform at the Theater Trevise in Paris. They also performed with the World of Dance Tour. In August 2010, their San Diego performance went viral on YouTube and they debuted on the US Television show called as ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
In March 2011, they defeated 353 dancers the New Hip-Hop Style at Juste Debout. In 2011, they were given the opportunity to perform with Beyonce at the Billboard Music Awards function. They also performed at other prestigious awards ceremonies. The Les Twins also joined Beyonce on her French TV Shows X Factor and Le Grand Journal. They also featured in some of her music videos.
They were also on stage with rapper Big Sean and with Missy Elliott. In 2012, they also debuted on Japanese TV. Les Twins also guest starred on ‘Everybody Dance’ show in Ukraine. They also appeared in Bollywood movie ABCD2. They also diversified into modeling. Les Twins trained people and choreographed for them.
The Les Twins have become a household name and they have a large fan following. Besides, they also earn an enormous sum of money and their net worth is not exactly known.

Laurent was said to be dating a girl called Jessica sometime back but things have just died down. Larry was dating a girl before who was a singer. He has a daughter with her. But they have separated. He was with another girl called Melissa but he has split from her as well.
