Dominique Sachse started her television career in the 1990s working as a metro traffic reporter on several radio stations and also as a disc jockey. In 1993, she joined KPRC Channel 2. She was firstly in-charge of giving reports about the traffic position in the mornings and later got promoted to the position of a broadcast journalist.

When you’re on TV, people always assume there’s a team, but there isn’t. You have to figure out everything. I used to watch tapes to critique myself. I’ve learned over the years to focus on a clean, classy look that’s not complicated.”
