London King is an American actress who has quite a number of films to her credit. She is the former wife of actor cum comedian Rob Schneider.

London King, brother, and her childhood

As per her wiki, London King is the daughter of David and Paula King. Her exact date and place of birth have not been revealed. It is believed that she was born in Ohio and her upbringing took place in Wellstone, Ohio. She had a brother called William Scott King.

She probably did her schooling at the local school there. There is no information known about her college days and the subjects she majored in.

London King has formerly worked as a model and actress. She was a teen mother. Her breakthrough role was in the movie called A Better Way to Die in which she had portrayed the character of Cheryl. This movie was released in 2000. She has also appeared in movies such as The Calling (2002) and Raw Fish (2001). She has a few film credits but in spite of talent, she never landed a large number of roles.

London then left acting and commenced to work as a Doula and a childbirth educator. She started this work in 2003 and has continued to serve her countrymen in this role. She has a net worth of $ 4 million.

London King met comedian Rob Schneider in Las Vegas on 25 September 1988. It was just three days after their first meeting that the couple decided to go ahead and get married in Las Vegas itself. Her parents-in-law were Pilar and Marvin Schneider. She was also the sister-in-law of John and April Schneider.

After a year of the marriage, they had a daughter named Elle who was born on 3 July 1989. It seemed all well on their personal front but soon cracks began to appear in their relationship. London King and Rob divorced on 1 September 1990.

Rob went on to marry Patricia Azarcoya Schneider who works as a TV producer. London, in the meantime, met musician Justin Tesa. The pair got married in an intimate ceremony in the year 2000 on 21 January. The couple is very happy together and their married life is going wonderfully. London’s second child Noah King was born on 26 June 2001 with Justin.

London King’s daughter Elle King and why she dropped her father’s name?

Elle King grew up with her mother after their parents divorced. She used to visit her father from time to time but was more close to her mother. She was good at singing and began to pursue the music career. But she did not want to climb the ladder of success on her father’s surname and hence she decided to drop it. She said to ABC News:

“I wanted to be myself, I am my own person.”

She added:

“It’s not that I wanted to be a famous person. I wanted to be a performer, But I worked really hard and I did everything myself and I took a name that … is my mother’s name … I took that name because I wanted to be myself.”

Referring to her stepfather Justin, Elle said:

“I am only a musician because of him, I think that it was something that was inside of me, but he saw that and he definitely nurtured it and pushed me to, you know, dig deeper into music and step outside of things that were beyond just pop culture and, uh, learn about good rock and roll. And still, to this day, I mean maybe once a month, he still sends me like a mix of new music that I need to listen to,”
