American actress and reality TV star Meghan Channing Camarena is also a singer, songwriter, comedian, gamer, Internet personality, YouTuber, and Vlogger. She was born on 17th July 1987. Her birthplace is Fresno, California. Currently, her age is 32.
She was raised in Modesto, California. She is of mixed ethnicity; half-Mexican and half German-Irish.
She has twin younger brothers; Christian and David Camarena. David is also a YouTuber and internet personality.
In one of her videos, Meghan Camarena had mentioned that she has two elder half-brothers from her parents’ previous marriages. Since her mother used to be ill and her father was away, Meghan used to take care of her younger brothers. In 2005, she completed her schooling from Davis High School. She initially took to video logging and lip dubbing before uploading videos on “unboxing cutesy Japanese toys, taste-testing weird foods from around the world, and reviewing apps and games.” Her music video ‘Vanilla Twilight; had more than 4.3 million views.
Her video ‘I’m a Gummy Bear’ got the attention of major record labels and she got offers from Sony, Universal, Atlantic, and Warner. She associated herself with other YouTubers namely Joey Graceffa and Jimmy Wong. She participated in the ‘Next Up’ video making contest and was one of the 25 winners on it. She moved to LA.
In Los Angeles, she indulged in making videos for Teen.com. She also used to produce videos for her own channel five days a week. She also hired people for the production and marketing of her channel. She and Graceffa participated in Amazing Race 22 with the name of ‘Team Cute’. They got 5th position in this race. She produced a short film in 2014 called ‘The Grey Road’.
In 2015, she became a backstage correspondent of the second season of the talent show ‘Fake Off’ which was telecast on TruTV. She also worked for Disney’s Maker Studios to make online content for the entertainment industry. She was also selected to feature on Polaris: Player Select of Disney’s XD channel.
