Aaron Rodgers and his injury
Aaron Rodgers is still recovering from his collarbone injury which he suffered in October 2017. He had got that injury due to a hit from Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr. Aaron’s fans were so angry and grieved on hearing about it, that they started sending hate mails to Anthony Barr and these continue to date. They have labeled him as a dirty player and even gone to the extent of wishing him bodily harm.
On 23rd December 2017, his team The Green Bay Packers are set to play against Minnesota Vikings. But since he is on injured reserve, the team will have to play without him. Aaron is a twice MVP. The team, unfortunately, has also been unable to get their best receiver Davante Adams on the team since he too has a concussion a few days back in Carolina. The team’s outside linebacker Nick Perry and Clay Matthews also have sustained injuries and would not be able to play. With the best of the players out, Green Bay Packers would have a tough time gaining victory over Minnesota Vikings.
About Aaron Rodgers’ birth and childhood including family
Aaron Rodgers was born on 2 December 1983 in Chico, CA. His parents are Darla Leigh and Edward Wesley Rodgers. His father works as a chiropractor and had played football for Chico State Wildcats from 1973 to 1976 as an offensive lineman. He has two siblings; Luke and Jordan. He has a mixed ethnicity; English, Irish, and German. Aaron studied at the Oak Manor Elementary School and his picture had appeared on the front page of Ukiah Daily Journal for his best performance at a local competition of basketball free throw. He later attended the Vose Elementary School and Whitford Middle School in Oregon. He used to play baseball in school. He later returned to Chico and joined the Pleasant Valley High School and graduated in 2002. He was the best in the team at football in the school.
He first joined Butte Community College in Oroville and on receipt of a scholarship shifted to the University of California, Berkeley. Here from 2003 to 2004, he played football for the California Golden Bears and was a good quarterback.
At the 2005 NFL draft, he was drafted in the first round. But he slipped to the 24th position for selection and this had become the headlines during that time. He was in the backup with Green Bay Packers for two years. He started actual play in 2007 and gave a splendid performance. He got an extension of his contract and more money.
He took the team to several wins and also won several titles for his great achievements in the history of football.
He is a good player but one thing is certain that he does not believe the media when it comes to interviews. He had once said:
“It’s something that I’ve been doing for a while now and I think it’s important to have that second recording, so if someone’s trying to take something you said out of context, you can go back and say, ‘Wait, wait, hold on!’ “
Aaron Rodgers’ Relationships
He had dated Jessica Szohr in 2011 but even after the breakup, they continue to be friends. His 34th birthday saw the presence of his ex-girlfriend Jessica Szohr and a group of close friends. Jessica is now dating Rodgers’ friend, Scotty McKnight. He was in a relationship with Olivia Munn, 37 for three years before they called it quits in April 2017. Aaron had said that the intense media attention focused on his relationship with Munn was responsible for the separation. He had said:
“When you are living out a relationship in the public eye, it’s definitely … it’s difficult,”
“It has some extra constraints because you have other opinions about your relationship, how it affects your work and, you know, just some inappropriate connections.”
After Munn, he had been rumored to be romantically associated with actress Kelly Rohrbach, 27. There are also some rumors afloat that he is dating Harvard soccer star Marie Margolius, 22.
