Tom Franco is the middle of the three Franco brothers; the others being James and Dave Franco. Tom is an actor and artist. He may be less known of the three brothers but he is the favorite. Recently, Tom Franco said:
“I’m like the chill, calm one. Everyone’s like, ‘Tom’s my favorite,’ because I’m, like, normal.”
Dave Franco too had admitted to this fact. He had said:

The latest ceramic sewer-themed pipe project of Tom and James Franco
For their joint pipe project, James sent his brother Tom 60 images of varied kinds to paint and carve onto the clay pipes. Tom then cut down these to 6 images for the project. Talking about it Tom Franco said:
“James works really fast, has an abundance of ideas, and will bring out ideas I’ll never dare go to. But I’ll bring a finishing touch to the things he wouldn’t put the time into finishing.”
The brothers share a very loving working relationship with each other.
The first showing of their exhibition ‘Pipe Brothers: Tom and James Franco’ is at the Ceramics Research Center at the Arizona State University Art Museum from 17th June to 23rd September 2017.
The exhibition would then travel during the fall of 2017. There are 9 pieces of these artistic pipes on display. The pipes are around 7.5 feet tall and each weighs more than 750 pounds.
Tom also spoke about his elder brother James to whom he said it is hard to say no. Tom said:
“It’s hard to veto James—it’s almost like if you were to do that, he would just do it stronger,”
He, however, did admit that this time James did listen to his editing the images for the exhibition.
Curly-haired Tom had joined the figure-drawing classes with James at their local art center when he was just 15 years old. He had considered drawing the naked pictures at that time as weird. He did a bit of acting and then went into the ceramic sculpting field. He has founded the Firehouse Art Collective at Berkeley, California and has been its director since 2004.
Tom Franco’s tragic love story
Tom Franco and Julia Lazar used to work together on their sculpture and artwork. Julia had always been very supportive of Tom Franco. The two liked each other. Julia Lazar was 22 years older than Tom Franco. But Julia developed liver cancer secondary to hepatitis C infection. She was terminally ill and had liver failure.
Just a month before her death, Tom decided to marry her. Julia was too sick to be able to go to the Church. Hence the wedding was solemnized at the hospital solarium. Her loss was overwhelming for Tom Franco and he shut himself off for many weeks to months after Julia Lazar’s death. He slowly started returning to his artwork and came out a stronger person than before.
Tom Franco is in a serious relationship now. He has found new love in Iris who is from Mexico. This was revealed by his brother James Franco on ‘The Late Show’.
