Mingus Lucien Reedus walks the ramp for the first time!

What better than to be born as a child of two celebrities? Mingus Lucien Reedus is one of such fortunate beings. He is the son of a famous American actor, Norman Reedus, and Danish fashion model, Helena Christensen.

Modeling runs in his genes. He has debuted on the ramp in September 2017 during the fashion week in New York. He did a catwalk for the first time for noted brand Calvin Klein. He had hit the runway with his cousin Oliver Sonne.

Mingus bears a close resemblance to his mother. His eye color and piercing nature are similar to that of his mother. Flemming and Elsa Christensen are his maternal grandparents. His maternal grandmother is from Peru and hence he had grown up enjoying Peruvian delicacies such as oysters and Moroccan-style chicken.

He is the only child of his parents. His mother was a supermodel of Europe while his father gained fame after working in ‘The Walking Dead’. Oliver Sonne is Helena’s nephew. Mingus was named ‘Mingus’ after the famous jazz musician ‘Charles Mingus’.

His parents had begun a relationship in 1998 and had split in 2003. Mingus was four years old when his parents separated. The couple shared the custody of their son and Mingus was most of the time with his mom.
