Born on December 1, 1988, in Columbus, Ohio, US, Tyler Joseph was the second child of Kelly and Chris Joseph among four children. His childhood was well spent with his two brothers (Zack and Jay) and sister (Madison). Chris (his father) was a school principal of ‘Worthington Christian High School’ and also remained basketball coach there. Kelly (his mother) was a teacher of mathematics in Olentangy school district later in 2013, she begins to take basketball coaching of ‘Olentangy Orange High School’.
Initially, as his mother was a teacher Joseph was homeschooled by his mother and attended ‘Olentangy High School’ and graduated in 2005. In the point guard position, Joseph started playing basketball for Worthington Christian. The performance of a songwriter at a High Street club inspired him so much to pursue his career in music, so he turned down an offer for a basketball scholarship and went to pursue a career in music.
He had received keyboard years back from his mother as a Christmas present, that was how he started off playing music. He would sit, compose songs, and practice singing. However, in 2006 through DC Talk (a Christian hip-hop group) his actual disclosure to music happened.
Tyler Joseph identified as a practicing Christian and his music often shows influences and themes from his faith. For part of his childhood, he was homeschooled. On July 7, 2014, Joseph and Jenna Black got engaged and got married on March 28, 2015.

Tyler Joseph gave a start to his career when the band name ‘Twenty One Pilots’. The band was formed in 2009. He was the creator of the band. He called his school friends Nick Thomas and Chris Salih for the band.
The band ‘Twenty One Pilots’ was named being influenced by a play named ‘All My Sons’ by Arthur Miller. In the play, it was written about World War II where twenty-one pilots were found dead. On December 29, 2009, They decided to make their debut as a self-titled album. This was followed by the Regional at Best in 2011.

In 2009, he has also been on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. They decided to tour in Ohio along with their band which was called ‘Quiet Is Violent Tour’. On January 8, 2013, they launched their third album named Vessel. On May 17, 2015, he and his band decided to launch their fourth album Blurry face. The band received international success, becoming a No. 1 album in the US with the album charting highly in several countries.
After all the hard work they finally received the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for stress out at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards. They had many great songs but out of them heathens, ride, and stressed out were the best among all. He has also done the solo albums in his career too named No Phun Intended. He has also contributed on a few tracks for Five14 Church’s worship.
