Nathan Willett is an American musical artist who is a member of the musical group called Cold War Kids. He is the front man who does the vocals and also plays the guitar and piano. Formed in 2004 in Fullerton, this band has released 6 albums till now.

Nathan met the other members of the present band at Jonnie Russell’s apartment during their Biola University days. Besides him, his band members are bassist Matt Maust, guitarist David Quon, keyboardist Matthew Schwartz, and drummer Joe Plummer. The band members’ bonding is great and strong and they are now called as veterans in the field of rock music. Their music during live concerts drives their fans crazy.

Their band came into existence in 2004 and soon started doing concerts and playing music together. Their initial releases were from independent record label Monarchy Music. In 2006, they signed with Downtown/V2 and started releasing albums. They debuted with Robbers and Cowards which sold 200000 copies, and later in 2008 did Loyalty to Loyalty.

In 2011, the band released their third album called Mine is Yours. It received mixed reviews and was basically appreciated for its different musical sounds and lyrical content.

In 2013, the musical band released their fourth album which was called as Dear Miss LonelyHearts. In 2014 came to their fifth album called Hold My Home. In the fall of 2016, the band moved from Downtown/V2 to Capitol Records. They decided to pay tribute to the place where they come from.

Hence they released A Divine in April 2017. This was their sixth LP about which the band members are extremely proud of. Nathan said about LA Divine:

“LA Divine is an attempt to encapsulate some of those — trying to take some of the old clichés about L.A. and unpack them a little bit, look at them differently.”

Talking about their musical evolution, Nathan said:

“The band had evolved in a lot of ways. I think we feel like we’re lucky to have a sound that we love, and that is true for us from the first record. So, in some ways, we’ve been circling and, in some ways, making our way back to that and trying to write the best song that we can within that sound.”

On 19 November 2017, the band would be performing at the Corona Capital Music Festival. Nathan has an estimated net worth of $ 7 million.
