Nadine was at the party with her then-boyfriend, Alan Wilzig who introduced her to Jordan. Jordan at that time was also married and his wife was Denise Lombardo.
In spite of both being in a relationship, they got attracted towards each other and began dating. They tied the knot in 1991 in the Caribbean after Jordan divorced Denise.
The married life and divorce of Nadine
After her marriage, Nadine Caridi ceased work as a model. She became a full-time wife and the couple had two children; a daughter named Chaalongsidea son called Carter. She became a great mother to her kids and also along side was a gorgeous socialite.
Jordan purchased a luxury yacht for the family and named it Nadine. In June 1996, it sank off the East Coast of Sardinia.
Jordan soon plunged deeper into his shady business and was in 2003 sentenced to 4 years in jail. There was also drug addiction, alcoholism, extra-marital affairs, and domestic violence. All of this led to a divorce and it was finalized in 2005. She had stated once to actress Margot Robbie who portrays her in the film on her husband:
“I didn’t care about the hookers or coming home late. He’s a man, he’s going to fuck around, I don’t give a shit.”
She said that the real reason for the divorce was:
“The drugs. The fact that he was a drug addict.”
She said that he used to do crack in front of the newborn baby.
