Nancy Putkoski’s relationship and marriage with Anthony Bourdain
There are a lot of details available on this front since it was during her divorce from Anthony Bourdain in 2005 after 20 years of her marriage that her name was thrown into the limelight suddenly. But after her divorce was finalized, she again disappeared out of the limelight.
Nancy Putkoski and Anthony had met in high school and had started dating soon after. They are high school sweethearts and were very much in true and sincere love with each other. Hence the couple tied the knot in 1986. They seemed to be a happy couple. However, they never had any children. It was said that Anthony was never prepared to have a child. He had once said in an interview:
“I would have been a shit parent. I’m a very good uncle. The evil uncle who lets them do everything. But a parent? Up until very recently I could hardly take care of myself.”
It is said that when Anthony wrote his book ‘Kitchen Confidential’ in 2000, he had to tour a lot due to it. There are also some mentions of girlfriends. It is said that these tours took its toll on the relationship between Anthony and Nancy. He does have regrets but covers it up with the mention of the book.

He feels that he is a good employer and chef but he seems to have failed at other relations and has let people down.
Anthony’s second marriage
In 2011, Anthony had moved on and married Ottavia Busia. During that time, there were some pictures of Anthony and his sous chef Steven Temple which were leaked to TMZ. The two were naked in a swimming pool during a 1999 vacation in St. Martin. It was suspected that Nancy might have leaked these pictures for revenge.
The pictures had a gay overtone. It was thought that Nancy wants a comeback to Anthony. But neither Nancy commented on them nor did TMZ reveal the source of the pictures. The whole matter died a natural death.
Anthony’s death
On June 8, 2018, Anthony was found dead in his room Le Chambard hotel in Kaysersberg, France. His cause of death was determined as suicide by hanging.
His body was cremated in France on June 13, 2018. Two days later, his ashes were then returned to the United States.
Nancy now
The current whereabouts of Nancy is not known, but probably she is single still. It is said that Anthony still has friendly relations with her.
