Nicole Bloom was born as Nichole Sakura O’Connor on 15th December 1989 in Santa Clara County, California, the USA. Nichole was raised in the San Francisco Bay area. Her mother is of Japanese descent while her father is a Caucasian; Irish. Her mother is Kinuko (Mizuno) while her father is Michael T. O’Connor.
There is no detail available on the internet about her siblings if any. Talking about her family and her relatives from the maternal side, Nichole Bloom had once said:
“My mom gets excited for me most. Her side of the family is all in Japan, so they don’t see anything I do. She won’t watch certain scenes I do more than once. It can be uncomfortable for her. She’s really a conservative, old-fashioned Japanese woman.”
She was very small when she had this intense desire to take up acting as a profession and career. Nichole Bloom started by doing commercials and modeling for American Apparel. Her first film role was the lead role in the short film ‘Everyday’ in 2010. In 2011, she landed a role in ‘Carpool’ opposite Morgan Pavey and Andy Dulman. She then got roles in ‘Minority model’ and ‘Project X’. It was her role of JB’s Girl in 2012 ‘Project X’ which gained her popularity and worldwide recognition. This movie was a box-office success and earned 100.9 million dollars against the spending of just 12 million.
This film also had many nominations on its name. Her role in ‘Minority model’ was also the main one and she was appreciated for her acting skills and talent. She was also featured in ‘Until Dawn’ which is a horror video game. In 2016, Nichole Bloom was again seen in the lead role of Annie Fenton in ‘Teenage Cocktail’. Nichole Bloom had mentioned in an interview that she had landed this role without audition and it was nice to have it in this way.
Similarly, she was also seen in a number of TV shows. She was cast as Amanda in ‘Shameless’ (2014-2016). She is playing the main cast of Cheyenne in the TV series ‘Superstore’ since 2015.
