She debuted her journalism career as a writer for Ralph Nader in 1981. Later, for him, he co-authored a book on the Reagan Administration. She worked as a staff reporter for the Washington D.C. based ‘Legal Times’ in 1984. Then, she began working in the Los Angeles Times as a staff writer from 1988 to 1998. Easton joined The Boston Globe in 2003 as the deputy chief at the paper’s Washington bureau.
