Oscar Nunez’s full name is Oscar Eduardo Nunez and he was born on the 18^th of November 1958 which makes him 59 years old now. His birthplace is Colon, Cuba and he is basically an American-Cuban. His parents had first migrated to Venezuela and then to the USA. His mother was a dentist while his father was a lawyer. They were first in Boston and later relocated to the Union City in New Jersey. He was 4 at that time.

Oscar knows English and Spanish. He was a student of several institutes and has studied also at the Fashion Institute of Technology. He did his writing course from the Parsons School of Design. Surprisingly, Oscar has also completed a dental technician’s course from Magna Institute of Dental Technology.

At the outset, Oscar Nunez began with comedy and he was with The Shock of the Funny theater company and performed more than 300 shows for them in New York. In the mid-1990s, he moved to LA and joined Groundlings and used to perform in their Sunday Company. He also used to do some writing work for them at that time.

In 1997, he attended the Warner Brothers Comedy Writer’s workshop. He also participated in ABC Latino Writer’s Project where he was the finalist. He took part in a game show in 1998. He also acted in several TV series such as Malcolm in the Middle, Reno 911!, Mad TV, etc. He also had a role in the famous The Office. He created, acted and produced Halfway Home.

Oscar Nunez is a married and family man. His wife is Ursula Whittaker. Their first child, a daughter was born on 4 October 2012 and is named August Luce Nunez. The marriage took place on 21 May 2011. They were engaged on 17 December 2010. It has been reported that he was married and divorced before and his wife’s name was Carla. But beyond this, no further details of this relationship are known. In 2011, he had talked in an interview with Collider about his ex who lives in Austin.

“Well, my ex lives in Austin.  I miss my little dog, and I wanted to come see her.  So I came down, and they let me take her– the dog, I mean– back to the hotel.  It was very fun, I’d never been to Austin.”
