Who is Paul Klein?

Paul Klein is in relationship trouble! The lead vocalist of LANY and his current girlfriend of five months, Dua Lipa has split, it has been reported.

The songstress Dua was dating Paul Klein in the summer of 2017. They seemed an adorable couple as can be seen from the various pictures they had uploaded of themselves on their Instagram. People and their fans were also fond of the budding relationship. But one does not know what went wrong but it has been learned from reliable sources that the two have now split. It comes as a surprise! A reliable source told The Sun:

“Dua and Paul had a really good time together but things just didn’t work out. She is very positive about the situation though, and has been pouring her emotions into her new album, which she has been writing in Jamaica and Los Angeles.”

The source added:

“The break-up has brought back memories of Isaac, who she split with this time last year. She has been messaging him again but she has been out of the country for the last few weeks so they haven’t seen each other.”

Dua had split from Isaac Carew  (Chef and model) in February 2017. She also was spotted with Calvin Harris and EDM artist Martin Garrix in between. Dua usually does not like people talking about her personal life; she prefers people to concentrate on her musical work.

Was Paul Klein in any previous relationship?

There is no great mention of Paul Klein’s previous dating. In March 2017, a 29-year-old LANY band member’s picture with actress Liza Soberano was posted by Liza on her Instagram. It was not an ordinary picture but in it, a heart-shape was made and displayed by the two with their hand together in the selfie photo.

But there was no further news on that front and neither Liza nor Paul had said anything about this relationship. He had also mentioned in an interview about his first love and kiss. He said:

“[The first songs I ever wrote] were love songs, about this girl named Maura Morris. I wanted her to go to prom with me, so I wrote her a song, asking her to go to prom with me. I loved that girl, man. I played it live for her — gladly, there is no recording — while she was sitting on her bed, and I was sitting on a chair at the end of her bed. On acoustic guitar. She said yes. And she was my first kiss!”

Paul’s time on the band LANY

Paul Klein had worked as a model and was recognized due to her work with notable brands such as Banana republic, Prada, and Zanerobe. He also making some music and had a solo career for sometime before he decided to fly to Nashville and meet Jake Goss and Les Priest who were his friends and were working with their separate project called WRLDS which was continued when in March 2014 the trio set to make the band LANY which stands for Los Angeles New York.

The band together started making music and uploaded two songs to SoundCloud. They made their first EP and the song ILYSB gained a lot of attention online. More singles were released and in 2015 they started their tours. Paul is the frontman and lead vocalist. He also plays the piano, keyboards, and guitar. In December 2015, they were signed by Polydor Records. More singles and EP followed. They continued to tour and earned popularity. Their self-titled debut album was released in June 2017. In April 2018, their first-ever arena concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Philippines would be held, the tickets of which have already been sold.

Paul carries the name Big Soda. Explaining this nickname, Paul said:

“Okay, my nickname is Big Soda, because I just… I love soda. If I could just get like, a 32 if I’m feeling nuts, a 44 oz Coca-Cola. If they’ve got crushed ice, then I mean, it’s hard to make me happier than a huge soda with crushed ice.”

Paul Klein was born on 30 April 1988 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Paul has preferred to not talk about his birth family, parents, and siblings. He was raised in Tulsa and had studied music and music business at the University of Nashville. He had a love for music right from a young age and grew up learning it.
