Paul Teutul Sr. is an American TV star who is seen in the show American Chopper. He is the owner of Orange County Chopper which custom-makes motorcycles and has also started a new show called Orange County Choppers which premiered on CMT.

Paul Teutul was born as Paul John Teutul and it was on 1 May 1949 in Yonkers in New York. He is 69 years of age now. He was raised in Pearl River in New York. In the past, Paul has served as a member of the United States Merchant Marines and this was during the Vietnam War. But it is not certain in which department he has worked during that time.

Paul later was the owner of Orange County Ironworks which was a fabrication workshop that is now solely owned and managed by his son Daniel. He was highly inspired by the custom bikes he saw on the streets and in various films and was motivated to try his hands in making them.

Paul then founded Orange County Choppers which concentrated on making customized bikes for its various clients. He recruited his son Paul Jr. into this job and both began designing and making such bikes for sale.

He is the key person on the show on Discovery Channel called American Chopper. In this show, he is shown to have arguments with and disagreements on various issues with his son Paul Jr. who was fired from his job in April 2009. Paul Sr. is now managing the shop alone and Paul Jr. has started his own design business which he has named Paul Jr. Designs. Paul Sr. has a net worth of $ 500k.
