Harvey Cantwell, popularly known by his stage name HRVY, is an English singer, dancer and TV presenter. He was a presenter on ‘Friday Download’ on CBBC from Series 7 to 9. He also portrayed the character ‘Benbob’ in the series ‘Chicken Girls’ on the YouTube channel for the first season.

His father works in the printing line while his mother serves as a Counselor at the Longfield Academy. HRVY is a family person and loves to spend more time with his family.
HRVY is a student of Leigh Technology Academy and likes to design certain new items. He is fortunate to have very supportive teachers and trainers who help him when he misses school due to his shows and recordings.
HRVY loved music from childhood and used to idolize David Craig, Tori Kelly, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, and Beyonce. Nathan Sykes has left the greatest impact on him. He would love to work with David Craig and Beyonce.

With encouragement from his friends, HRVY started uploading videos of his singing on Facebook and YouTube. The Manager of Union J and Overload, Blair Dreelan saw his singing in the video, liked it, and gave HRVY his first break of singing in June 2013 at All Starz Summer Party at the Madejski Stadium in Reading, Berkshire.
Soon, HRVY was signed by Universal Music for his first single. It was released on his VEVO channel on YouTube in December 2013. He also hosts the BBC show ‘Friday download’. HRVY has toured the UK, Ireland with other musical legends in 2016. He also participated in the Magcon Tour Barcelona in 2016.
HRVY took to stage singing where he performed with great singing personalities, but he was humble and used to seek advice from these musical experts. HRVY was into writing songs even before he signed to his first record label. He has a unique voice. He has been appreciated for his sense of maturity. HRVY’s new single
Harvey has released a new single with the title “Wish You were here” and the music video is underway! And this time he has done a bit too differently for the music video.
The 19-year-old singer’s music video is set in a prison and he revealed that he actually went up to real convicts to give him inside info to make his latest video!
He said:
‘The set was scary because it was so realistic, it was my idea for it to be set in a prison. We had real prison inmates there, who are now actors. They were telling us what was realistic and what wasn’t.
‘So we were changing bits based on what they knew, as a lot of them had been in prison for a few years.’
He is active on social media with an enormous following. His Instagram has over 3.9 million followers, more than 447k followers on Twitter. However, he does not have followers on Facebook.
