We have all heard about Post Malone, the famous American music artist storming the Hollywood music industry. At just the age of 22, he has made a deal with Republic Records. Since then he has become a superstar.

Life before fame

His birth name is Austin Richard Post and was born on July 4, 1995, in Syracuse, New York. The post was raised by his father Rich Post and stepmother Jodie Post.

When he was 10 years old, the Post family moved to Grapevine, Texas. Post’s father had been a disc jockey in his youth. Rich introduced Malone to several genres of music including hip-hop, country, and rock. His initial interest in learning guitar began while playing the famous video game Guitar Hero.

Soon he was into music. In 2010, he auditioned for the band Crown the Empire. To his despair, the guitar strings broke during the audition. so he was rejected.

Later in 2015, he along with his friends and other music producers and artists, he formed the music group  BLCKVRD and recorded music together. In February 2015, his song “White Iverson” was uploaded to SoundCloud. And On July 19, 2015, Post released a music video for “White Iverson”.

He was then recognized by the music industry. In August 2015, he signed a recording contract with Republic Records. Subsequently, he worked with world-famous rappers such as 50 cents, Young Thug, Kanye West.

10. Post Malone – “Go Flex”

The music video opens with him getting into his car and taking look at the rearview mirror. The scene is followed by him playing a few notes on his guitar in a peaceful desolate place. Then, a blast of music along with his voice singing

The fifth single from Stoney was officially released on January 31, 2017. Malone had already debuted the song while performing in his home state of Texas in September of 2016.
