Justin Thomas in South Korea

Justin Thomas is an American professional golfer who is a PGA player. This year has been a great year for Justin Thomas due to the fact that he won four PGA tour events and became PGA and FedEx Cup Champion. On 19 October 2017, Justin Thomas was playing in South Korea and had a three-stroke lead after the first round of the CJ Cup. Talking of the day, Justin Thomas said:

“It was kind of a weird day. It started off with a really, really bad bogey. And then I had a seven-hole stretch there where I basically kind of went unconscious. That was pretty much most of my round.”

Talking about the long eagle putt on no. 12 that he had set up with a driver and a 3-wood, Justin said:

“That was a weird putt. Jimmy and I had a hard time reading it which usually means it’s pretty straight so that’s how we ended up playing it.”

Justin is comfortable playing abroad. Justin added:

“It’s still golf. It doesn’t matter where you are and I know that it is very cliche and easier said than done but you just have to take advantage of the rest and time you have off the course.”

Justin Thomas’ career

Justin was born on 29 April 1993 in Louisville, Kentucky. His father, Mike Thomas was the head professional since 1990 at the Harmony Landing Country Club in Goshen, Kentucky. In August 2009, he played in the Wyndham Championship on the PGA Tour. In 2011, Justin graduated from the St.Xavier High School. Justin had played college golf at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

He won 6 times at the college level for the Crimson Tide. In 2012, he was also awarded the Haskins award for his great achievements. He was also on the national championship team in 2013.

In 2013, Justin switched to professional golfing and earned his Tour card after qualifying from a school. He won the 2014 Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. He also got good points at the web.com series and earned a PGA Tour in 2015. His 2015 performance was also beyond par and he gave the best results.

Thomas won the CIMB Classic in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2015 and 2016. In January 2017, Justin won the SBS Tournament of Champions. He also scored well at the Sony Open in Hawaii. He was the youngest player to shoot a sub-60 round. He won the tournament by 7 strokes. He also won the 2017 PGA Championship.

In September 2017, he was the FedEx Champion. He has other wins and awards to his credit. He feels that his father has a major impact on him and has helped him grow in the golf game.

Justin Thomas is in a relationship with Jillian Wisniewski, 24 for two years. Jillian has done a graduation in journalism from the University of Kentucky. She was a reporter and co-anchor for the school news network. She also represented the student service center. She completed her internship in the broadcast department at McGarry Bowen in Chicago.

In July 2015, she got promoted to an administrative assistant. In January 2016, she became a business manager. She is the second of three children of Bruce and Rose Wisniewski. The couple has no children as yet and their wedding plans are also unrevealed.
