Richelle Carey is an American broadcast journalist. She is a news reporter and anchor and hosts the show Al Jazeera English.

Richelle Carey was born on 13 October 1976 in Houston, Texas, and is of age 41. She was raised in Houston and the information on her parents is not known. But the only thing known is that her mother was a nurse who worked for teenagers in poor neighborhoods. There are no details about her siblings. She has studied at Smith College situated in Massachusetts. She obtained her graduation in telecommunications and this was from Baylor University in Texas. Now, it’s never a bad thing to have more voices in the news. Because Al Jazeera is such a diverse, global company we have resources in parts of the world, other networks don’t. Ans even in places where all networks have resources. Al Jazeera America will look for those voices you won’t hear on other networks. So, for example, while all networks will cover what happens in the Middle East on AJAM you will hear a variety of perspectives from those whose lives are actually affected, perspectives that you likely won’t hear on other networks.”

Richelle has won a number of awards and has also been named as the emerging journalist by the Houston Association of Black Journalists. She is also on the board of several professional organizations and those who work for women and children. She is particularly an advocate of teen girls and women and fights for the rights of women’s rights. Her net worth is $ 2 million.
