Rick Braun is the American trumpet Maestro and record producer. He has consequently built on his success for Atlantic Records, remarkably with the chart-topping Kisses In The Rain.

Rick Braun’s Bio, Age

Rick Braun was born on 6 July 1955 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, US. to his parents. He was raised with his brother. He is the youngest son to his parents whose ethnicity is American and holds the nationality of the United States. Rick’s mother was also in the music department and was a self-taught pianist and banjoist.

Braun attended the Eastman School of Music luckily because he was contemplating medical school.  He played drums in high school, and later he followed his brother in playing the trumpet.

Braun became a member of a jazz fusion band, Auracle when he was in Louis E. Dieruff High School. He stepped into the pop music world in 1980 and released the first album in Japan as a singer.

He also worked as a songwriter and wrote ‘Here with Me’ with REO Speedwagon, which later became a top twenty hit. He returned to the trumpet and worked with Crowded House, Natalie Cole, Glenn Frey, Tom Petty, Sade, Rod Stewart, Tina Turner, and War. He pursued his career with his second solo album ‘Beat Street’. Before Beat Street, he debuts with the ‘Intimate Secrets’ album in 1992.

He also performed in the BWB band with Kirk Whalum and Norman Brown.

Before the year 2000, Braun released several albums, and his latest album Around the Horn was released in 2017 and became the best Jazz Album in 2017.
