Sean Hannity is an American talk show host and conservative political commentator. He is also a Radio host and an author.
Sean’s full name is Sean Patrick Hannity. His birth took place on December 30, 1961, in New York City, New York, U.S. He is a son of Lillian (Flynn) and Hugh Hannity. His mother Lillian was a stenographer and a corrections officer at a county jail and his father Hugh was a family-court officer. He has three siblings and he is the youngest one. He was brought up by his parents along with his siblings in Franklin Square, New York.
He attended Sacred Heart Seminary in his middle school and he completed his high school from St. Pius X Preparatory Seminary in Uniondale, New York. To further his academic career, he attended several colleges New York University, UC Santa Barbara, and Adelphi University, but did not graduate. He dropped out due to financial difficulty.
His ethnicity is Irish and nationality is American.
After dropping out of college, he started a house painting business. A few years on, he worked as a building contractor in Santa Barbara, California before hosting his first talk radio show in 1989 at the volunteer college station at UC Santa Barbara, KCSB-FM, while working as a general contractor.
The radio talk show was canceled after less than a year.
In 1996, Fox News hired him as host in a television program under the working title Hannity and LTBD (“liberal to be determined”). Later the same year, he left for New York where he worked as afternoon substitute in WABC. He worked there from January 1998 until the end of 2013. Since then he has hosted the 3–6 p.m. time slot on WOR in New York City.
He is also an author of three books, Let Freedom Ring: Winning the War of Liberty over Liberalism was published in 2002, and Deliver Us from Evil: Defeating Terrorism, Despotism, and Liberalism was published in 2004. His third book is Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama’s Radical Agenda published in March 2010. The book became his third New York Times Bestseller.
