Early Life, Family & Education
In Springfield, Massachusetts, in the United States, Sijara Eubanks was born on April 27, 1985.
Her early years are a closely-guarded mystery, though. Nobody is aware of her parents. Additionally, she enrolled in and completed her studies at the High School of Commerce.
She enrolled at Morgan State University after graduating. She surprisingly never acknowledges or talks about her upbringing.

However, some claim that Sijara showed an early interest in fighting sports.
She even received training from multiple MMA coaches in order to pursue a career in MMA. Sijara works really hard, and as a result, she is in this position now.
Early Career
Sijara knew she wanted to fight from a very young age and sought out training from several coaches in order to advance her career.
She finally had the opportunity to compete in the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation, and this was where her MMA career began.

In the women’s No-Gi Advanced Absolute Division of the 2011 Grapplers Quest World Championship Finals, Eubanks won first place.
She never lost any amateur matches, which astounded everyone. But as an amateur, she had a perfect record in mixed martial arts.
Invicta FC
Eubanks defeated Gina Begley in her first game (professional debut) in 2015 for Invicta FC. She also defeated her opponent via TKO.
Similar to 2015, Eubanks defeated AmberLynn Orr in her second match, which she won through TKO. She did, however, compete in her second fight for a promotion.
On January 14, 2016, Eubanks, though, suffers his first loss of the year. She was currently engaged in combat with Aspen Ladd, and the outcome was a unanimous one.
Nevertheless, she had a 2-2 record for Invicta FC throughout her time there. She then became a member of The Ultimate Fighter.
The Ultimate Fighter
The Ultimate Fighter made the announcement that Eubanks would participate in the UFC’s first-ever 125-pound women’s champion crowning event in August 2017.
Sijara Eubanks and Maia Stevenson squared off in the opening round. Eubanks, though, advances to the following round of the competition by winning that battle by submission.
When Eubanks faced DeAnna Bennett in the quarterfinals, she once more defeated Bennett by knockout in the opening round.
Again, after three rounds and a unanimous decision, Eubanks defeats Roxanne Modafferi to go to the semifinals.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)
On December 1, 2017, Eubanks was scheduled to debut in the UFC. However, she was removed from the bout while attempting to gain weight because of kidney problems.

The Ultimate Fighter Inaugural 26 Finale pitted her against Nicco Montano, in addition. Later, Roxane Modafferi will fight in lieu of Eubanks.
UFC Debut
On June 1, 2018, Sijara finally made her UFC debut following her rehabilitation. She faced Lauren Murphy in her opening contest. Not surprising, Eubanks prevails in that contest by a unanimous vote.
A contest between Eubank and Valentina Shevchenko was slated for November 2018 to become the new UFC women’s lightweight champion.
Later, that match was postponed due to UFC’s cancellation in October 2019. Later, UFC declares that the main event of UFC 230 will be another bout.
In addition, Valentina will face Joanna for the title rather than Eubanks. Eubanks’ fight with Roxane will also go on.
Although Eubanks defeated Roxxane in October, she was penalized 20% of her winnings, which was later given to rival Valentina.
She was made to pay, nevertheless, because Eubanks’s weight was 127.27 pounds, above the 126-pound limit required to compete in non-title fights. Eubanks was 1.2 pounds overweight.
Additionally, Sijara and Ladd faced off once more on May 18, 2019. Sadly, Eubank is defeated once more by the majority decision, but she was given the Fight of the Night trophy nonetheless.
Sijara Eubanks vs. Sarah Moras
At UFC on ESPN+ 29 at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, on May 13, 2020, Sijara Eubanks competed against Sarah Moras of Canada.
Actually, the fight was scheduled to take place at UFC 249 in April, but it was postponed due to the pandemic.
The third round of their fight apparently included the full spectrum of blazing punches and kicks.
Overall, Eubanks was declared the winner by a unanimous vote (30-27 30-27 30-26). A contest between Macy Chiasson and Eubanks was slated for September 5, 2020.
But owing to a health issue, Macy opted out of the contest. After that, Karol Rosa was scheduled to take on Eubanks.
Rosa once more withdrew from the contest on September 3 owing to issues with her weight cut, just two days before UFC Fight Night 176.
Later, at UFC Fight Night 177, Julia Avila and Eubanks squared off. Amazingly, Eubanks receives a unanimous decision victory.
If all goes well, Eubanks will fight Pannie Kianzad in December 2020 as part of UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs. Chima.
