Silkk was born on 18 June 1976 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the USA. He was raised in a housing project in 3rd ward of Uptown New Orleans which is named as Calliope Projects. He has three brothers and one sister. The brothers are Percy Master P Miller, Corey C Murder Miller, and Kevin Miller and his sister is called Germaine Miller. Germaine owns a beauty salon and Kevin was killed during an attack of robbery in 1990. At the age of 13, Silkk relocated to Richmond in California and was at the De Anza High School and completed his high school graduation in 1994.

Silkk the shocker and his music career
Silkk released his debut album named The Shocker on 20 August 1996 and it was a hit. He later released more albums and also appeared on albums of other artists such as TRU, Mia X, Mystikal, and the like. He also featured on his brother Master P’s hit song Make ‘Em Say Uhh! in 1997 which was on his album called Ghetto D. Silkk himself released his single featuring Mystikal in 1998. It was called It Ain’t My Fault. He was also in a duet with Mya. In 1999, Silkk further collaborated with Mya. His album Made Man was released and most of the songs became popular. The album sold many copies. From 2001 to 2004, he released My World, My Way, and Based on a True Story.

In 2010, Silkk released his mixtape called All I Do is Win. He signed with his nephew Romeo’s record label called No Limit Forever Records. He also started touring with his brother Master P and nephew Romeo. He released the singles of his sixth studio album called Incredible.
Silkk the shocker and his acting career
He began his acting career in 1997 and played the lead role in Hot Boyz in 1999. In 2002, he appeared in Undisputed and in 2010 was seen as Drez England in the film called Reservation. He played himself in his biographical film Incredible in 2015. He was also the main character in 2015’s More Money, more family. This 6 feet and 4 inches tall singer has a net worth of $ 2 million.

Silkk the shocker’s every young look
Silkk was questioned in 2017 about his ever-young and non-aging looks to which he replied:
“That’s funny! I hear that a lot. I don’t know. I don’t stress a lot. I try not to let anything get to me. I look for balance. I try to be happy. I can always make money. I like to be in balance. I guess that’s something that’s keeping me looking young.”
Silkk the shocker and his personal life-wife, girlfriends, children
Silk was dating Mya for more than 3 years but they split in 2002. He has been in multiple relationships but the names of the women are not known. He has two children-son Lil King Miller and daughter Jianna Miller.
One of them is with his brother Master P’s daughter Cymphonique Miller’s mother’s sister. They are Filipinas and it is Master P’s belief that if they have children with Filipinas the kids would be good-looking and they can encash him in the entertainment industry for his/her good looks.
