Stephanie Abrams is an American meteorologist who works for The Weather Channel. She is known for her efficient and accurate weather reporting. She was also present on the ground during the total solar eclipse 2017 in the USA. She has a flourishing career but she is unfortunately not so lucky in her personal life! Stephanie Abrams’ birth, early life, and education
Stephanie Abrams was born on 27 October 1978 in Wellington, Florida, the USA. There are no details whatsoever about her parents and siblings. Information on her childhood days and schooling is not known. She had attended the University of Florida in Gainesville and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in geography with a minor in Mathematics. She is a honors student and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
She has a second degree as well in meteorology from the Florida State University in Tallahassee. She scored excellent grades during this graduation. She was on FSU Live and used to practice there. She also took up the post of a teaching assistant at FSU.
Stephanie Abrams’ career
Stephanie Abrams began her career with the job of a morning meteorologist at WXTL in Florida. In July 2003, Stephanie had joinedThe Weather Channel. Here for 2 years, Stephanie served as a reporter and fill-in. She joined Weekend View in 2005 as a co-host. In 2006, she made her on-camera appearance and was a co-host of the show ‘Abrams and Bettes: Beyond the forecast’. She also started co-hosting the show Weather Center with Mike Bettes.
In 2009, Stephanie was also asked to take up the in-front of camera responsibilities of Wake up with Al on weekday mornings from 5-7 am. She used to appear on AMHQ from 7-10 am. In 2010, she also reported live from Vancouver the Winter Olympics. She was the interim weather girl with Weekend Today in 2012. In 2012 to 2013, she co-hosted On the Radar show. She also hosted the Morning Rush from 2009 to 2014. She currently is the co-host of the show ‘America’s Morning Headquarters’.

In 2017 August, Stephanie was reporting on the ground about the total solar eclipse in the USA. She was in Madras, Oregon. Stephanie became overwhelmed during the reporting and just after the moon passed the sun, her eyes welled up.

She herself was surprised by her this reaction but handled the situation very professionally. She said:
“It’s emotional, I can’t explain why but it is. That is something that’s really special, and we’re all really fortunate to be alive and where we are today so we can see it.”
She did not let this emotional moment affect her work and continued to report on the crowd, their reactions and what they were experiencing.

Stephanie was dating her co-star Mike Bettes. They possibly fell in love on the sets and started their relationship. They soon got engaged and then married. But the marriage lasted for a mere 4 months and they split.
The exact reason for this split is not known. But after the divorce, Stephanie has not made any new relationship. She is currently single and enjoying her time and work. We do wish this highly talented weather girl the very best for her life and future!
