The “Jackass” star, 43, is reportedly receiving care in an ICU in San Diego, California, where doctors have put him on a ventilator.

The former professional skateboarder has been hospitalized since earlier this week and he is currently in stable condition. TMZ reported on Friday.

In addition, The stuntman had a difficult year, often attempting to leave rehab centers between June and September.

Bam’s mother, April Margera, and brother, Jess Margera, addressed the problem in an Instagram post in August after being assigned a temporary healthcare guardian.

“It’s no secret that Bam has struggled with mental health and addiction,” the couple stated at the time. “You’ve watched Bam grow up and supported him through his ups and downs.

The statement continued “Although we love sharing our lives with you. Some things need to be handled privately and treatment is one of them. Recovery is difficult and even more so under public scrutiny.”

The “Free Bam” movement was refuted by Bam Margera family members, who made it clear that their relative was not “in a conservatorship.”

The social media post added, “We ask for you to support Bam in his recovery, to stay on track. And wish him well in his sobriety”

Lawsuit against Knoxville

When asked about his former co-star in October, Steve-O responded, “I’ve been physically present at almost every stop on his years-long tour of rehabs and psych wards. I’ll never give up on him.”

Margera was a founding member of the Jackass crew, executing stunts in the MTV series and its film adaptations alongside Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, and others.

Margera claimed he was dismissed mid-production after failing a drug test. But he did not appear in the most recent sequel, Jackass Forever.

Nicole Boyd and Bam Margera have separated legally now. The sources reported that Nicole filed for legal separation on Tuesday. She filed for divorce after Bam visited their 5-year-old son, Phoenix in presence of Nicole.
