Early Life and Education

Nicole was born on July 12, 1985, in Colorado Springs, to her mother Annette, and her father Richard.

In addition, her mother was a science teacher, and her father worked as a pharmaceutical sales manager.

Nicole grew up in Pennsylvania for the majority of her childhood. She moved to Westlake, California, with her parents before beginning middle school.

Nicole competed in six pageants before entering the Miss USA competition, and she was successful in several of them.

Miss California 2010

However, the brunette’s most successful pageant was winning the title of Miss California 2010 in November 2009.

Nicole stated in an interview that she desired the title of Miss California more than anything else. She went on to say that she had never worked out so hard in her life.

She worked with a personal trainer twice a week, did yoga twice a week, and ran three times a week while training for Miss California.

Nicole also altered her diet and adhered to a strict regimen that included egg whites for breakfast, a few almonds or an apple for a snack, brown rice with chicken for dinner, and broccoli for dessert.

She usually chose foods that were low in sodium and sugar.

Furthermore, Nicole worked with the residents of Camarillo-based Casa Pacifica, which supported abused, neglected, and emotionally disturbed children, after winning the title of Miss California.

Miss USA

Nicole shifted her focus in 2010 and competed in the Miss USA pageant. The pageant took place in Las Vegas. Nonetheless, the stunning Nicole came in ninth place.

Nicole received numerous opportunities while competing in the Miss USA pageant. For example, a retreat for participants in Virginia included various self-esteem-building exercises, tips for interviewing and walking onstage, horseback riding, rock climbing, and so on.

In addition, Nicole and Michael tied the knot twice! On June 13, 2016, the couple married for the first time in their Arizona backyard. It was a small ceremony with few people in attendance.

To make traveling easier, the wedding was held just before the Olympics. It was paperwork, and no one knew about the wedding outside of the family.

Following the secret wedding, the couple married again on October 29, 2016.

Furthermore, the event was held in Mexico, and approximately 50 of their closest friends and family members were invited. It was an ideal location.
