George Clooney and Amal Clooney are so close together as they have been together for 8 years now. Similarly, he shows his appearance on October 21 on “The Drew Barrymore Show”.

He explained his relationship with Amal and his proposed reaction to the show’s host, Drew Barrymore. He shared that Amal thought the 7-carat diamond ring which he gave to her belonged to one of his ex-girlfriends. So, this reaction was a disaster as it didn’t go as per his plan.

Likewise, when Drew asked George about the marriage proposal, he said

“It was a disaster. I planned it out. I’m not stupid. I planned the whole thing out.”

Then, he explained the plan where saying that he brought a diamond ring for Amal. And, George hide the ring inside the drawer he also made dinner for the two of them. Furthermore, Clooney stated,

 “I had the ring hidden in a little drawer behind her. I had music playing, my Aunt Rosemary’s gonna sing ‘Why Shouldn’t I?‘ on a playlist. Everything was planned out”

However, Amal didn’t respond as per his plan and according to him, when she saw the ring she thought it belonged to George’s ex-girlfriend. Moreover, he also added,

“She kind of pulls this thing out, this little drawer, and there’s a diamond ring in there. And she looks at it and she’s like, ‘Uh there’s a ring in there.’ Like somebody left a ring there years ago. And I’m like on my knee…”

Though George Clooney was on his proposing to his wife and he was expecting a quick response. Although, Amal’s answer will be “Yes” she took time to respond as she was like “Oh my God, Oh my God” continuously. She wasn’t believing it was happening.

And, Cooney also explained,

“Amal only said yes when ‘Goody, Goody’, which isn’t very romantic — it’s kind of mean: ‘So you met someone who set you back on your heels, goody, goody’.”

Following this, the actor mentioned that his wife has changed his life so far. Further, he continued,

“All I know is that it sort of changed everything in terms of what I thought my future – my personal future – was going to be. But I’ve always been an optimist about the world. I wasn’t always completely optimistic about how it was going to work out personally for me. But now I am.”

On June 6, the year 2017, the duo gave birth to the twins, son Alexander and daughter Ella at St. Mary’s Hospital, London. When they knew about having twins, The couple was excited and added,

“We are really happy and really excited. It’s going to be an adventure. We’ve sort of embraced it all … with arms wide open.”

When the sources asked George about his wife and his relationship, he stated,

“Eight years! And they said it wouldn’t last. Everything about my wife is sort of magical, as I think everybody has come to realize as they see her and hear her and hear what she stands for. There’s just not a downside to her.”

The dress was given as a commission from the director, Jeremy Scott. The dress had pictures of 61-year-old Clooney from his early heartthrob years to his recent years. Meanwhile, Roberts outlined the dress with a cropped blazer and accessorized it with a Chopard hoop earring. She was very happy while she posed for the photographers.
