About Mike Thomas |  Family and Education

Mike Thomas enrolled at Chicago, Illinois’ DuSable High School. In 2010, he drove the Panthers football team there to the state playoffs.

Mike enrolled in the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, in 2012 to begin his college career. But in 2013, he changed schools and enrolled at Kansas’ Dodge City Community College.

Thomas joined the University of Southern Mississippi after the season. He gave performances in Southern Mississippi from 2014 to 2016.

On March 24, 2020, the Cincinnati Bengals acquired Thomas.

In week 2 of the 2020 season, he caught Joe Burrow’s four-yard touchdown pass for his first career score. However, they were defeated by the Clevland Browns by a score of 30-35.

Mike caught 13 catches for 132 yards and a score while playing in 14 games for the Bengals.

On March 26, 2021, he re-signed with the Bengals for a single season. He failed to make the roster for the start of the season, though.

2017 game suspension for Mike Thomas

The NFL declared Mike would miss the first four games of the 2017 campaign on July 14, 2017.

The then-Rams wide receiver broke the league’s performance-enhancing substance policy and was not permitted to re-join the group until after their October 1 game against the Cowboys.

He was permitted to participate in preseason games and train with the squad at training camp before the suspension started.

In 2016, Mike was chosen in the sixth round. In 15 games during his first season, he caught three passes for a total of 37 yards.
