American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer Keith Farrelle Cozart goes under the stage name Chief Keef. When he was still a teenager in the early 2010s, Chicago’s South Side high school students started to listen to his music.

Who is Chief Keef? Early Life, Parents, and Education

Chief Keef was born Keith Cozart on August 15, 1995, in a Chicago home with unstable finances. His mother became pregnant with him when she was just 16 years old, and his father’s identity is still a mystery.

His uncle’s name was given to him by his grandmother, who now had legal custody of him. Keef grew up in a predominantly black area of the city’s south side. He has acknowledged that rap music has had a big influence on him all of his life.

When he was in school, he already had a substantial fan following made up of high school students from his area. He started rapping at the young age of 5.

He created songs and mixtapes using his mother’s Karaoke machine and blank tapes that he had taken from friends and neighbors.

Education

Chief Keef was known as a very intelligent kid who consistently scored well in school. He began his education at Dulles Elementary School and afterward attended Dyett High School and a therapeutic day school.

He was compelled to begin paying child support after DNA evidence established him as the father of a 10-month-old daughter in November 2013.

A different woman who claimed he was the father of her kid sued him in May 2015. Since he didn’t respond to the legal documents that were served on him, he was forced to appear in court. When he objected, a bench warrant for his arrest was issued.

He created controversy in August 2015 by calling his newborn baby Sno “FilmOn Dot Com,” drawing influence from his record label, in an effort to promote his album Bang 3.

After a paternity disagreement, FilmOn Music withheld the name until the matter was settled.

In addition to being one of the most popular rappers, Jay-Z is also a wealthy businessman and the owner of the entertainment corporation Roc Nation.

He has received a number of accolades and his albums have sold over 50 million copies worldwide.

Early Life, Education, and Childhood

Jay-Z was born in New York, in December 1969, to his parents Adnis Reeves and Gloria Carter. His mother raised the four of them on her own after his father decided to leave the family and disappear.

Jay attended many schools when he was growing up in the Marcy Houses, where he was raised. Eventually, due to the Marcy Houses’ infamous reputation for being dangerous, the entire area had to be evacuated.

Jay was classmates with two of the future The Notorious B.I.G. and Busta Rhymes in high school. After some time, Jay switched schools and enrolled at Trenton Central High School in Trenton, New Jersey, however, he never completed his coursework there.

Like many other restless young men, he got involved in drug peddling and then started selling crack cocaine.

How did Jay-Z start his career?

The drug use, violence, and poverty that Carter experienced growing up in the Marcy Projects could have all been avoided by engaging in rapping.

In 1989, he collaborated with the more experienced rapper Jaz-O on the song “The Originators,” which led to their appearance on an episode of Yo! MTV Raps.

Carter then decided on the stage name Jay-Z in honor of Jaz-O, a play on his nickname “Jazzy” from his youth, and a nod to the J/Z subway station close to his Brooklyn home.

Before starting their own record label, Roc-a-Fella Records, in 1996 with two friends, Kareem Burke and Damon Dash, Jay-Z remained largely unknown, despite having a stage persona.

In June of the same year, Jay-Z released his debut album, Reasonable Doubt. The album barely reached No. 23 on the Billboard 200, but because of songs like “Brooklyn’s Finest,” a collaboration with Notorious B.I.G., and “Can’t Knock the Hustle”

Moreover, it includes Mary J. Blige, which is now considered a classic hip-hop collection. Jay-Z was singled out by Reasonable Doubt as an emerging hip-hop star.

With the release of Vol. 2… Hard Knock Life in 1998, Jay-Z saw even greater success two years later. The album’s title tune, which famously used a song from the Broadway production of Annie, quickly rose to the top of the charts.

Rap Comeback

Jay-Z ended his musical break in 2006 with the release of his brand-new album Kingdom Come. Soon after, he released two more albums: American Gangster in 2007 and Blueprint 3 in 2009.

Likely the perils of fame and money, this trio of albums marked a dramatic shift from Jay-earlier Z’s sound. According to Jay-Z, he tried to alter his songs to represent his own middle age.

“There’s not a lot of people who have come of age in rap because it’s only 30 years old,” he said. “As more people come of age, hopefully, the topics get broader, and then the audience will stay around longer.”

Jay-Z released Magna Carta Holy Grail, his 12th studio album, in July 2013. While the project received varying reviews from critics, it did well with the public as seen by its success in topping the Billboard 200 and earning double-platinum status.

Jay-Z received a record-breaking nine Grammy nominations that winter, and he shared the award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with Justin Timberlake for the smash hit “Holy Grail.”

What is Jay-Z’s Net Worth and Career Earnings?

Jay-Z was estimated to be worth $1.3 billion at the time of writing. Jay-success Z’s success as an entrepreneur and in the music industry has made a substantial contribution to his wealth. Jay has enjoyed considerable success in a variety of businesses.

In his own words, he is “not a businessman, he’s a business… man.” His annual salary is from $70 million to $80 million. From June 2018 to June 2019, he earned 81 million dollars.

As of June 2019, Jay-Z has become a billionaire for the first time thanks to his vast business empire, which now comprises record sales, touring, merchandise, endorsements, and investments like Armand de Brignac champagne, Tidal, and D’Usse cognac. Marcy Ventures obtained funding totaling $85 million for investments in 2019.

Rocawear, Tidal & Other Business Ventures

Jay-Z focused on the business of music during his break from rapping, rising to the position of president of Def Jam Recordings.

In his role as Def Jam’s president, Jay-Z signed well-known artists like Rihanna and Ne-Yo and assisted Kanye West in making the move from producer to best-selling recording artist.

However, Jay-Z’s tenure at the storied hip-hop label wasn’t without its challenges. In 2007, he announced his resignation as president of Def Jam, citing the firm’s unwillingness to abandon its outdated business strategies.

In March 2015, Jay-Z and a number of his powerful pals, including Madonna, Nicki Minaj, and Jack White, announced the relaunch of Tidal, a streaming music service. This announcement brought Jay-business Z’s into the spotlight once more.

The site reportedly had 1 million users as of September 2015, but it also experienced a rotating door of senior management and legal problems. Early in 2017, Jay-Z and telecoms behemoth Sprint reached an agreement to sell Jay-Z a 33 percent share in Tidal.

Political and Charitable Work

Jay-Z entered the political sphere in 2008 when Obama was running for president for the first time after largely avoiding it throughout his career. He made appearances at rallies and was nothing but complimentary of the African American candidacy.

Tidal X: 10/20, Jay-inaugural Z’s annual charity concert, included Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Usher, and other popular performers in October 2015.

The announcement that Tidal was giving $1.5 million from concert revenues to several charities, including Black Lives Matter and Harry Belafonte’s NGO Sankofa, came out in February of the following year.

Personal Life and Relationships

Due to his intense privacy, Jay-Z kept his relationship with Beyoncé, a well-known singer, and actress, a secret from the general public for a very long time.

On April 4, 2008, in New York City, the pair wed in a small ceremony without even inviting the media. Only approximately 40 guests, including actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Michelle Williams, and Kelly Rowland, former members of Destiny’s Child, attended the party in Jay-penthouse Z’s apartment.

On January 7, 2012, a daughter named Blue Ivy Carter, the couple’s first child, was born. Jay-Z and Beyoncé rented a portion of New York’s Lenox Hill Hospital and hired more security because they were worried about their privacy and safety.

Jay-Z posted a song on his website in her honor soon after the birth of his daughter. In addition to the song, Jay-Z and Beyoncé posted a message ” we are in heaven” and Blue’s birth “was the best experience of both of our lives.”

Body Measurements and Hair

Jay-Z is 86 kg (about 190 pounds) in weight and 6 feet 1 inch tall. He had “dark brown” eyes and “black” hair at birth.

Rumor has it that Jay-bodily Z’s chest measurement is 44 inches wide, his waist measurement is 35 inches, and his arm or bicep size is 15 inches.

Although Jay-freeform Z’s congo dreadlocks are easy to maintain, his afro hair originally needed to be grown a little bit longer.

The well-known rapper has patience, too, as it appears that he started growing out his nearly entirely unshaven head about two or three years ago.

LL Cool J is the stage name of James Todd Smith, an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and actor. Along with other new school hip-hop artists Beastie Boys and Run-DMC, he was one of the first rappers to have mainstream success.

LL Cool J’s acting career had a difficult beginning, but it quickly gathered momentum owing to a number of strong performances in both films and TV shows.

Childhood, Family, & Early Life

Parents James and Ondrea Smith gave birth to James Todd Smith in Long Island, New York.

He was usually referred to as Todd and had a challenging childhood. He witnessed his father shooting at his mother and grandfather when he was just four years old, which led to the breakup of his parents.

His mother started dating “Roscoe,” a physical therapist. LL Cool J has accused Roscoe of physically and psychologically abusing him in his book and in interviews. But Roscoe has denied these allegations.

How did LL Cool J start his Career?

Todd first met Rick Rubin, a New York University student, when he was 16 years old in 1984. Todd’s music caught Rubin’s ear, and the two collaborated to produce the single “I Need a Beat.”
Russell Simmons, an artist manager, also like the tune when it was provided to him.

Later that year, Simmons and Rubin established their record label, “Def Jam Recordings,” and released LL Cool J’s debut single, “I Need a Beat,” which went on to sell more than 100,000 copies.

Because of its impactful lyrics, “Radio” received a lot of positive reactions and more than 1.5 million copies were sold.

When Todd played himself in the 1985 film “Krush Groove,” which was about the creation of “Def Jam Recordings,” he also began his acting career.

Todd’s subsequent album, “Bigger and Deffer,” was widely acclaimed when it was released in 1987. Included were the tunes “I’m Bad,” “I Need Love,” and “Bristol Hotel.”

Additionally, the album sold more than 3 million copies and spent 11 weeks at the top of the Billboard R&B charts.

The predominance of “soft” songs on LL Cool J’s third album, “Walking with a Panther,” turned off many of his fans even though it was a commercial success when it was released in 1989.

In response to the criticism from the fans, he released “Mama Said Knock You Out,” which contained upbeat and hard-hitting music. One of his best-selling albums to date, it has sold over 2.7 million copies.

Further

The success of his music led to him getting parts in films including “The Hard Way” and “Toys.” In 1993, he performed at the Lincoln Memorial at the swearing-in of President Clinton.

In 1993, Todd established his own record label, P.O.G., or “Power Of God.” Additionally, he founded “Rock The Bells,” a music production company that worked with artists like “Amyth,” “Smokeman,” “Natice,” and others.

Furthermore, at Sears stores, Todd debuted his own line of urban clothing in 2009 under the name “LL Cool J collection.

In the 2009 season of the CBS television program “NCIS: Los Angeles,” LL Cool J received a regular role as special agent “Sam Hanna,” a Navy investigator.

On LL Cool J’s most recent album, “Authentic,” which was released in 2013, a number of other musicians, including “Eddie Van Halen,” “Snoop Dogg,” “Seal,” and “Brad Paisley,” made cameo appearances.

Major Works

His best-selling album to date is LL Cool J’s groundbreaking opus “Bigger and Deffer,” which was released in 1987.

The album includes “I Need Love,” the pioneering and most well-known “rap ballad” of its kind. In 1990, LL Cool J’s wonderful and classic song “Mama Said Knock You Out” was released. LL Cool J successfully recovered from the failure of his prior album.

Robert Sylvester Kelly famously known as R. Kelly is arrested and will be spending the next 30 years in prison. The reason for getting arrested is due to his sex trafficking case.

Why Robert is in prison? Know the reason

Robert Sylvester Kelly aka R. Kelly is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and convicted sex offender. Similarly, On June 29, in a Brooklyn Federal Court, Judge announced that kelly is found guilty of sex crimes.
However, after a nine-month accusation, he was guilty on all nine counts in his sexual abuse trial. In addition, the singer was also imprisoned for five years of supervised release.
He also has to pay a fine worth $100k.Since six female victims have accused Robert of abusing them and marrying them when they were underage.
One of the accusations was made by late singer Aaliyah who is the former wife of R. Kelly. Similarly, they tied the knot when Aaliyah was 15 years old only in 1994.

The charges against Kelly include racketeering, bribery, coercion, enticement, and sex trafficking. Though, Robert did not accept the fault and said he has not done anything wrong. However, the accusation lasted from the year 1992 to 2017.

Furthermore Explanation

From the above, we know that Robert denied being guilty and was not accepting the accusations made against him. Though many witnesses came and plead him guilty in federal court in Brooklyn last August.

Likewise, the witnesses(male and female) claimed Kelly groom them for sex. Moreover, he abused them psychologically by R. Kelly while they were underage and he was mature enough.

Robert used to treat them like a piece of shit and he used to force them to sign nondisclosure forms. And if they denied doing so, he threatened them and gave them punishments.

Similarly, according to the victims, R. Kelly uses his “fame, money and popularity” to “prey upon children and young women for his own sexual gratification.”

Early Life, Childhood, Family, and Education

On February 18, 1965, Theodore and Verna Young welcomed Andre Romelle Young into the world in Compton, California. Sadly, his parents got a divorce when he was seven years old.

He was a student at a number of different schools, such as Vanguard Junior High School, Roosevelt Junior High School, Fremont High School, and later Chester Adult School.

Dre wanted to enroll in the Northrop Aviation Company’s apprenticeship program during his undergraduate years, but due to his persistently subpar grades, he was not permitted to do so. He then focused on music as a result.

When did Dre start his Career?

He worked as a DJ at the local pub The Eve After Dark for his first job in the music business. He then began going by the name Dr. Dre, which he has kept ever since.

Dre’s musical career began in 1984 when he joined the group World Class Weckin Cru. After their debut hit, “Surgery,” sold more than 50,000 copies in Compton alone, the band swiftly took over the West Coast’s electro-hop scene.

Together with Eazy-E, Ice Cube, and DJ Yella, he created the local gangster rap group N.W.A in 1986.

N.W.A concentrate on gang culture and urban violence as themes. Their music was straightforward and honest, giving the American people a picture of “real” life.

In 1991, he and Suge Knight founded Death Row Records. He launched his debut song in 1992, which served as the soundtrack for the movie “Deep Cover.” Rapper Snoop Dogg made his debut on the song as well.

The songs “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang,” “Let Me Ride,” and “Fuck with Dre Day,” which transformed the music industry, helped the album become a worldwide phenomenon. With its G-funk sound, the album dominated early 1990s hip-hop music.

After achieving popularity as a rapper, he changed careers and became a producer. Tupac Shakur’s records “All Eyez on Me,” “Doggystyle,” and other films were all produced by him.

Rise to the Top

The self-titled first album by Eminem in 1999 featured three songs produced by Dre. Four million copies of the album were ultimately sold in the US alone, rescuing Aftermath Entertainment’s future in the process.

The success story continued with Dr. Dre’s second solo album, “2001,” which marked his triumphant return to gangster rap. The album was a huge hit.

Following the success of “2001,” he started writing songs and producing albums for other artists, such as The D.O.C., Eminem, and others. In 2001, he added R&B singer Truth Hurts to Aftermath.

Other Work

A new high point in Dre’s illustrious career was reached in 2008 when his own line of headphones, “Beats by Dr. Dre,” was introduced.

There were numerous in-ear, circumaural, and supra-aural headphone versions available. In 2014, the telecom giant Apple Inc. ultimately acquired the headphone manufacturer for an estimated $3 billion.

For the hits “Keep the Heads Ringin'” and “Forget About Dre,” he received two MTV Best Rap Video Awards.

Personal Life and Relationships

When Dre was only 17 years old, Curtis Young was born. Ironically, Curtis Young didn’t meet his father until 20 years later, when he was the rapper Hood Surgeon.

Andre Young Jr., his second son, was born from his relationship with Jenita Porter even though the two never wed.
