The 44-year-old Braunwyn Windham-Burke said that she is heartbroken and it was hard while splitting with Victoria. But now looks like she doesn’t want to be sad anymore.

“We were in two different relationships, unbeknownst to me. So I was giving 100 percent. I was in love, and what I thought it was, it wasn’t. And that’s hard.”

She claimed that both were in a different relationship and from her perspective it was one-sided. She was giving her 100% in the relationship and thought it was love. While the reality is it wasn’t and that was the hard part for Windham.

Windham recently was in the headlines of the news when she stopped crying over the split and broke the silence. She was the former star of the famous show, “The Real Housewives of Orange County” and have been dating Victoria since December 2020.

The surprising part is she revealed that she was lesbian in 2020 when she started dating. And then she broke up after 9 months of being in a relationship.

“It just wasn’t working,” a source confirms, who lived on separate coasts: Windham-Burke in Newport Beach, California, and Brito in New York City. “They had great chemistry, but ultimately it wasn’t enough to sustain them and the long-distance became too hard to maintain.” 

A person living nearby them confirmed that it was definitely not working for them. Although they were in a relationship and shared great chemistry with each other, they were mostly long-distance. That was one of the main reasons it was really hard to maintain.

The decision was definitely not easy for Windham as she revealed her other personality while dating Victoria and to accept that she was no longer was difficult for her. However, they broke up with a very mutual understanding.

“Braunwyn is heartbroken, She fell hard, she fell fast, and she loved Vic with her whole heart. The relationship ending, it’s devastating for her.” the source mentioned

It must be very tough to handle everything for Windham as it is true that she was in deep love and it must have been devastating for her.

The source gave us more details about the heartbreak saying, that it was Windham’s first time experiencing a new lesbian relationship. And sooner she had to get out of the trauma from her first ever true relationship.

The source further added that people experience heartbreak in teens. But for Windham, it’s different she is experiencing it in her 44,

“Part of being a late-in-life lesbian is that Braunwyn’s experiencing all these things for the first time,” the insider says. “This was really her first serious relationship with a woman since coming out in 2020. So while most people have their first heartbreak in their late teens, she’s having it at 44. And she’s dealing with it as best she can.” 

Moreover, Windham said that yes, she is not a teenager anymore and she is very old enough to stay out of it and have fun.

“So back in the city, I went on a couple of dates this week. Like, I’m not going to sit home and cry. I did that during the pandemic. I’m done now. Put your lashes on, clip in some hair, get back out there!”

She mentioned that she went on a couple of dates and she is not going to sit at home and cry. She encouraged everyone who is going through the same situation to put on some makeup and go out!!.

Windham actually confirms the relationship with model Brito after a year of dating. In the nine months, the two love birds were mostly in a long-distance relationship as Windham lives on the West Coast.

A piece of news also confirms that they were purely busy with their own work to maintain their relationship. However, breakups are always hard for every couple, and Windham is trying to get off the breakup. She is being optimistic.

Windham-Burke expressed a lot on her Instagram Story on Friday.

“My heart is just broken,” she explained. “The breakup with me and Vic, it’s hard. It’s hard. … This was like the first long-term female relationship that just threw me for a loop. It’s normal.”

It is just earlier that day, the mother of seven children was having a very hard time. She shares 21-year-old Bella, 20-year-old Rowan, 16-year-old Jacob, 9-year-old twins Caden and Curran, 7-year-old Koa, and 4-year-old Hazel with her ex-husband Sean Burke.

Windham said,

“When I got sober, I thought, ‘Okay, now I’m not gonna drink and everything is gonna be easy.’ I did not realize the s— that was coming my way,” she said.

“Every time I think it can’t get worse, it does,” Windham added. “When does this end? I do have these moments like, ‘I didn’t get sober for this to be so hard.’ “

Even after the breakup, Windham is still staying focused on her 7 children. She has set her priorities and has not allowed the stress of the breakup to affect her sobriety. She is remaining sober and is trying to be the best version of her mom for her children.

Whereas Brito is equally affected by the strong feeling of infatuation with the reality star. “Victoria digs her,”. Brito has always been a very energetic and bright person but it is Windham who brings a glow out of Victoria and she is not stopping smiling since.
