Tamera Young is an American basketball player who plays for the Las Vegas Aces of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). Young plays as a small forward and was first picked by Atlanta Dream in the 8th round pick of the 2008 WNBA draft.

After playing collegiately at James Madison University in the Colonial Athletic Association and setting a number of records, she was drafted in the 1st round with the 8th overall pick in the 2008 WNBA draft by Atlanta Dream.
While playing for the Dream, her per-game averages included 8.9 points, 1.8 assists, 5.5 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 27.4 minutes per game.
On August 12, 2009, Tamera was traded to the Chicago Sky in exchange for Armintie Price. As a Chicago Sky player, she averaged 40.5% in field goal accuracy, with 27% in three-point accuracy, and also averaged 6.8 PPG.
On February 1, 2018, Tamera signed a contract with the Las Vegas Aces.
