By the time Taylor started his collegiate year, he was a three-star recruit. Before graduating in 2009, Taylor participated in four seasons of play at the University of Oklahoma.
Professional Arena
The Phoenix Suns selected Taylor with the 48th overall choice in the second round of the 2009 NBA Draft, just a few months after he finished his college career.
Taylor continued to play for the team in the 2009 NBA Summer League after earning a contract with them in August of that year.
He was constantly loaned out to the Iowa Energy team, though. He rejoined the Suns for the 2010 NBA Summer League following his rookie season, and they later released him in July.
Taylor then decided to relocate to Europe, where he initially played for the Belgian team Belgacom Liège Basket.
He went back to North California the very next year, in 2011, and played with the Dakota Wizards.

Before joining the wizards, he had originally signed with the Charlotte Bobcats, but he had never played for them.
Taylor signed and re-signed with the Santa Cruz Warriors between the years 2012 and 2015, but he frequently switched teams.
He did, however, work with the Warriors to win the D League Championship.
