August Maturo was facing the cameras when he was just 4 years old. He acted in church plays and wanted to be on stage rather than in the audience. His mother booked him with an agent. His first role was that of Isaac in the one hour drama on CBS called as Applebaum. He guest starred in a number of TV series such as How I Met Your Mother and Weeds.
He was also cast in Dads and Raising Hope. August Maturo was cast in 2014 in Girl Meets World. He has also appeared in the sitcoms See Dad Run and Suburgatory. He was cast as Simon in The Odd Couple in 2016. In 2017, he portrayed the character of Kyle in Teachers.
He was also cast in several commercials. He does great acting in both dramatic and comedy roles. He loves to sing, dance, play video games, and the piano. He also loves baseball and other sports. He loves to spend time with his family and has picnic outings with them. He would like to write when he grows up.

August Maturo is the brand ambassador for Epipen. Epipen is the epinephrine injection available in the form of a pen for easy administration. It is life-saving whenever a person develops an allergy to nuts and the like and goes into suffocation and respiratory difficulties. August Maturo is himself allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, coconut, and sesame.
His mother Maha Maturo had once told in an interview:
“He was three years old and we were at a family get together. He tried a cashew for the first time and he started choking and gagging and his lips swelled. He vomited. I recognized those as symptoms of anaphylaxis and rushed him to the emergency room, where they gave him epinephrine, which is the first-line treatment for anaphylaxis. After that, we met with Auggie’s allergist, who then diagnosed him with his food allergy.”
August is brave and has accepted his problem. He said:
“Having an action plan makes me safe. It was scary but knowing what to do made me feel safe.”
He shares his problem with his audience and makes them aware of the condition and steps to take to avert any problems and death.
