Terry Kennedy – Childhood, Parents, Death
Terry Kennedy was born on June 4, 1956, in Ohio. His father was renowned baseball player Bob Kennedy and his mother was a homemaker Claire Kennedy. They together had five kids, three sons, and two daughters. Terry was the youngest child.
Terry Kennedy was interested in a baseball game from childhood. When he was studying at Florida State University, he used to play there also. As his father was also a player, he was trained by his father. He used to attend baseball matches to learn his father’s skills. No further information about Terry’s childhood is available.
Terry had a special connection with his father and mother. But his mother passed away at age 50 in 1994. He and his father together came out of this tragic loss. Unfortunately, at 84 age in 2005 Bob also expired and was buried in Mesa. This was a tragic moment for Terry. He said,

But his real debut in Major League Baseball (MLB) game was on September 4, 1978, for a team called St. Louis Cardinals. After 2 years with St. Louis Cardinals, Terry joined the next team San Diego Padres (1981–1986).
He then joined Baltimore Orioles (1987–1988) and in 1989 he was seen with The San Francisco Giants team. Terry’s last match was on October 6, 1991, and he played for the San Francisco Giants. His baseball career lasted for 14 years. He played a total of 1491 games, his batting average was counted as 264 and he hit a total of 113 home runs.
Terry Kennedy was a winner of 4-time All-Star ( (1981, 1983, 1985, 1987) catcher who played in MLB and had won the Silver Slugger Award in 1982.
Terry (62 years old) is now retired from playing Baseball. But he is still contributing his talent for this game. He is currently working as a coach, manager, and instructor for other leagues.
