Thomas Markle and his statement given to Good Morning Britain
Meghan Markle’s father had given an interview to Good Morning Britain in which he mentioned about the contents of a private conversation he had on the phone with Prince Harry. He talked about politics and touched such controversial topics as Brexit and Donald Trump.
The result was that both the Queen and Ms. Markle were upset with this interview. The royal commentator Angela Levin said:
“I think the thing that struck me was how openly he talked about private conversations he had with Prince Harry, particularly about Trump and subjects like Brexit.”
She added:
“I think the Queen will be very angry.
“She is absolutely the model of the stiff upper lip and not saying anything that is too political.”
The presenter further continued:
“I think Harry will be very cross but I think he will put all his energy into caring for her.
“He is a very caring man with those he likes and loves and I think he will realize how upset she has been by this.”

Thomas Markle and his early beginnings
Thomas Markle was born in 1944 and is about 72 to 73 years of age. His parents were Doris May Rita and Gordon Arnold Markle. He grew up in Newport, Pennsylvania. He has two brothers; Frederick and Michael Markle. There is no information available on his education.
Thomas Markle: career
Thomas had worked as a director of lighting at the WTTW-TV Channel and had received an Emmy award for his excellent work the program titled Made in Chicago.
He also worked on the lighting for TV series General Hospital and Married…With Children. He later was promoted to Director of Photography. He won more awards on the way and also was nominated for various other coveted ones.

Thomas Markle was married twice. His first wife was his student and Secretary Roslyn Loveless and they had tied the knot in 1964. Their first meeting was in 1963 at an on-campus party at the University of Chicago. They had two children: Samantha born in 1964 and Thomas Markle Jr. who was born in 1966. The couple divorced in 1975.
He then went on to marry Doria Ragland in Hollywood on 23 December 1979 and the couple had a daughter called Meghan Markle who is now the Duchess of Sussex. The couple too separated and divorced in 1987 or 1988.
Thomas Markle and the royal wedding
Thomas was supposed to attend the wedding of his daughter Meghan to Prince Harry and walk her down the aisle but due to his heart attack, he was not allowed to travel from Mexico to the UK for the wedding. He spoke to his son-in-law Prince Harry only on the phone and has yet not met him.
He resides in Rosarito, Mexico. He had also fallen into a controversy when a day before the wedding, he had posed for the paparazzi allegedly for money.
